Ah maybe it's definitions that's the issue here. Since you have mangaed to grasp the meaning of neither noble nor addressed. -

It's the literal meaning of the word noble. Now pipe down. -

Tory Lies, Corruption and Hypocrisy- Add Them Here
williemillersmoustache replied to HTG's topic in The Politics Forum
They deliberately ran down the emergency PPE stockpile and outsourced the storage to their pals who did such a bad job of it, much of the reduced stockpile was unusable. So when the pandemic hit frontline workers went without. So they went to the massively over inflated market to buy more but, as if that wasn't bad enough, they ignored established suppliers in favour of their mates, selling at even greater prices than this higher market rate. And then we discover much of this doubly price inflated kit, that should have been stockpiled but wasn't, that should have been supplied by businesses with a track record, but was instead supplied by businesses entitles created the day before the contracts were awarded, didn't fucking work. We've been paying to store much of this unusable equipment, paying their tory pals to do it, and now we're paying more of their donors and pals to destroy it. Any non-joke country would have lynched these fuckers months ago. f**k the UK. It is a midden. -

Of course it's just that he'll struggle to find a tattoo artist with the skill to fit all of his broken promises in on his forehead. -

At least this explains why all the press coverage of this edited out the question. Which would you prefer Keith? -
What is the point of Labour ?

‘I USED to support independence, but now Labour has committed to holding a consultation on updating the Scottish Government’s capital borrowing ceiling, I’ve changed my mind.” It doesn’t exactly ring true, does it? Let’s take another shot: “I voted Yes, but now that Leeds is getting a directly elected mayor, I’m having second thoughts.” Nope. A third go: “The big thing that made a difference for me was the idea that Holyrood should be consulted by the UK Government in relation to the minimum wage. That’s a game-changer.” Nope, nope, nope. -
What is the point of Labour ?

In very much the same way they claim to be want to deliver massive, transformational constitutional reform, when we know these are just the same rotten magic beans they've been selling for years. He's totally boxed himself and the party into a corner. It's as much Labour's brexit now as it is the Tories, with all the unquestioning cult status that that brings. Clowns. -

What is the point of Labour ?

Tbf, this isn't especially controversial. What is questionable is how much genuine "spare capacity" there is in the private sector considering many of the surgeons who do these elective planned operations will be the same person in the NHS and private. Nor does it address post operative care. I'm sure it would have some effect but there just isn't some enormous magical bag of capacity, stuffed full of happy nurses and doctors, waiting for Labour to unleash them on NHS waiting lists. -

Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.
williemillersmoustache replied to John Lambies Doos's topic in The Politics Forum
Ah perfect, we've left the EU so we can remove the protections put in place post financial crash that would protect individual investors and hold senior financial managers accountable. Protections that the UK could have changed whether we left the EU or not. -
I have to say if I wanted to avoid being plausibly suicided in a freak hijacking / car accident/ fall into the concrete foundations of a road bridge, I wouldn't hide in Honduras.

One of the few unionist commentators I have any respect for and who tends to have enough respect for himself to usually tell the truth.

I didn't say the thing I said. Other people have also said stupid things. Anyway, here's something completely made up in further justification.

I'm none too fond of the weegie brogue myself but suggesting Mhairi Black is neither eloquent or articulate is just plain, and quite crude prejudice. -
