  1. However, King told Sportsmail from South Africa that the two DID discuss the matter by telephone - and that Green also told him of plans to slash the manager's salary as part of a huge cost-cutting operation. Read more: http://www.dailymail...l#ixzz21Nt50A9d Granted this is from the Mail but I wouldn't have read it from them originally.
  2. I'm sure when there were rumblings of sally jumping ship there was a wee bit about him taking a wage cut.
  3. They seem to have done this all the way through. In negotiations to get themselves out of the shit and they do something to antagonize rather than aid the situation.
  4. There are plenty of clubs who haven't put out official statements and I doubt there will be many more. I really don't care which SFL clubs voted yes, it was a problem not of their making and despite carrots and sticks they did the right thing. I said I would boycott the ground of any SPL team that voted yes and that is what I'll do, made easier by the fact they won't be back for at least 3 years.
  5. How are rangers fans going to feel about this sevco attack. What about sevco fans, how will they see it?
  6. I know a lot of folk are saying Division 3 for this pish but can't we pin this thread. I don't want to be seen relishing in rangers/newco misery. I am sure liquidation will take years and I want to know every sordid detail.
  7. Never really knew much about the guy so took a quick look at his wiki entry. He is clearly a few players short of a Division 3 team.
  8. He's probably fucked off with Green for standing in front of the SFL meeting and telling them he was promised Div 1.
  9. On the transfer ban from RM. I can't read this shit without thinking it was posted by someone from here.
  10. Fuckin hell Richard ask the arsehole about SPL 2 and withdrawing the 1.8M TV payments. BOOT BOOT BOOT.
  11. Fuckin hell Richard ask the arsehole about SPL 2 and withdrawing the 1.8M TV payments.
  12. It was Green and as such the new regime that took this to court. I think they are getting off lightly with just one year.
  13. Almost always revolution is followed by civil war. Let's hope that this civil war is followed by revolution of the game.
  14. Good morning you miserable fucks. The sun has finally made an appearance, Sevco are in Division 3, I don't have a hangover and Off The Balls on later. Nice one.
  15. I miss the accidental oracle of this saga, Jim Traynor. Every prediction he made was wrong.
  16. At the end of this is that the SFL saying they'll force through league reconstruction? http://sport.stv.tv/...-sport-in-mind/
  17. At almost every turn the wrong decision has been taken in this saga. From EBTs, selling rangers to an asset stripper for £1, Ticketus. Then onto the administration, appointing D&P, not sacking anyone/ wage cuts, rangers STAYING IN A HOTEL TO PLAY HEARTS, contracting the asset sale for £5.5M. When that CVA was rejected that was the biggest mistake. What should have happened was newco should have had to apply directly to the SFL for a 3rd division place. SFL would have had plenty of time to consider the proposal and even look at other applications. The SPL would have changed voting rights and TV money by now. The SFL probably would have past league restructuring by now, forcing the SPL to comply. Even newco would be in a better position, they would almost be ready for life in the 3rd (if they had been accepted) and the stench of rangers would be starting do disappear. Instead we are now here. Muted celebration at the SPL vote, as it should never have happened. An unbelievable vote tomorrow which could see a new club leap over 20 others. Outrageous comments from the SFA and SPL, which would be funny if they weren't so damaging. Every Scottish football fan (including sevco) could be looking forward to the season as a bright new dawn starts. Instead, all faith has been lost in the governing bodies who, along with the media have been peddling financial oblivion. Tomorrow is another big day on deciding the fate of Scottish football. Hopefully tomorrow is the last day in the saga, hopefully we can start looking forward to football and the future. Hopefully.
  18. Traynor, in the same breath, I have always said rangers to the 3rd division.......they must go in the 1st or the game will be dead.
