A club can sell players whenever they want. The transfer window for most of Europe (including Scotland and England) is 1 July to 31 August, this is the most profitable market to sell to. That's an awfy long wait for a club with no money and no income.

Don't suppose someone here will know. Why are Ticketus creditors? I thought their deal was for three years ticket selling. Unless Ibrox is demolished (apart from one wall of it) they could still sell tickets. I don't see how their agreement has been breached yet, so Rangers wont owe them anything, yet. I'm sure this has probably been explained already, but I can't keep up with all the hilarity.
