  1. My sympathies. I've watched Dundee a couple of time this season too.
  2. He's gone fucking mental on twitter. My timeline is full of his retweeting of supportive journos. 19 tweets in a huge block.
  3. Aye, there's a significant Wrexham immigrant community in the east end of Glasgow. Lots of wee shops selling daffodil bulbs and illicit Max Boyce tapes.
  4. You mean, if it wasn't for those pesky kids.
  5. Just think. If we'd been in the top league this year and winning the way we are, it might have been us being eliminated by Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
  6. Based on this Scottish Sun article https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4955264/rangers-hmrc-tax-case-ebt-expert/ I suspect the BDO June statement that the tax bill had reduced to £83M has now been superseded and is actually £24M lower than that, once Hector waives the £24M penalty. Interest will also come down a bit. I'm guessing (I know, I know) that the £83M is now closer to £50M. Still enough to make them unsellable in 2011.
  7. 9 for Friday. Star signs - who would have guessed? Apart from Mystic Meg. ETA: Waiting with bated breath to see whether The Kincardine posts a 10 to overtake me. This is a grudge match - but once HMRC get involved, I might downgrade it to a minor disagreement.
  8. HMRC's amended bill is still £68.3M as communicated by Rangers' liquidators, BDO. I've no idea where this figure of £20M comes from.
  9. Oh dear. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/scotland/rangers-tax-case-hmrc-blamed-for-downfall-of-club-qs9306kht It's behind their paywall but it looks like Hector screwed up and the tax bill was much lower than they said at the time. It was still unsustainable though.
  10. I don't think replacing council tax with a local income tax is withing the Scottish Government's gift - not a devolved power.
  11. f**k cities. They're only good for the under-thirties.
