For Thursday, knew 3 for sure and got 6. Apart from yesterday, it's been some set of questions this week. https://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/mind-games/quiz?quizId=8813

8 for Wednesday. Guessed the Aussie question right. Just as well the Pulitzer Prize list didn't include Hemingway or I'd probably have picked him!

Knew 2 and scored 4 for Tuesday. What with this, Monday's score and 'a-stinking-cold' (Kenneth Williams in Carry on Cleo), it's turning into a pish week already.

Follow Follow Rangers. Season 2024/25
The DA replied to The_Kincardine's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Raising funds via a loan secured against assets is, in itself, neither good nor bad. It's what you do with those funds that matters. If the plan is to use the money to grow the business, invest in plant and machinery, launch an ad campaign, buy players that will win you the league, then it's 'a good thing' - speculating to accumulate, as they say. There are risks involved but you'd assume the directors had weighed those up and decided that the benefits outweighed the costs and risks. If instead you're using the loan funds to underwrite day-to-day running costs, I'd say that the risks then outweigh the benefits and that taking out such a loan would be 'a bad thing' and just buys you some time. What's the plan to ensure that this is the last loan? ETA: What The Ginger Prince said. -

I'd spread the three million across De Plotting Shed, WILLIAM Henry, DRUMcliff and Not Another Muddle. Might want to lay off on Sutton Manor. https://www.oddschecker.com/cheltenham-festival/close-brothers-novice-handicap-chase/winner -

The most recent rating for Close Brothers is one of only two positive reviews they get on that site. Strangely and coincidentally, it was only posted after Rangers' announcement(!) and is from a guy in Paisley(!!) who has never given anyone else a positive review before(!!!). #Juststirring -

Here you go, Bennett, courtesy of a non-Celtic fan. Make of this what you will. https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.closebrothers.com. Any concerns? -
Oh dear. Lots of guesses and a mid-table 5 for Thursday. Only knew 3 for sure - the quote, Amanda and the comet (that well-known 60s beat combo). For those of you quivering with anticipation, I guessed the Aussie sports question wrong.

What evidence do we have that he got it wrong? He, or his paper, were approached by The Rangers and told to 'cease and desist' - and they did. It's easier to back down than take the chance of going to court. And they still got the story out there: no one believes the retraction.
