  1. They're determined to drag everyone down to their level. http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=267869 Delusional.
  2. If you got rid of the dog, you could use its food and vet money to buy a beer or two.
  3. Extract from the accounts "The quality on the pitch, the standard of matchday entertainment, the level of success from the previous season, the level of opposition, together with pricing all have an effect on the decision to buy. Many of these factors are beyond the control of the Company." Really? Which of those are beyond the Company's control? 'The level of opposition' and... well that's it really. Not exactly 'many'.
  4. Read the rest of FIFA's update. The bit that says 'the club was consigned to liquidation in mid-June' doesn't worry you? If it was only the company that re-formed post-liquidation, what happened to the club? Could they still be... in liquidation?
  5. If you're only going to discuss facts, football's maybe not the best forum.
  6. If they move McCoist far enough 'upstairs', will he become Pie in the Sky?
  7. Anyone else think Rangers will use McCoist to get one half of the fans to sign up for STs now and then move him upstairs so that they can hoover up the Ally-must-go half later?
  8. This is pay week, isn't it? The 27th? Wonder what the plans are and whether any extra cash has come in. Last Gasp Season Tickets, sponsorship, kit deals? Where's PMG when you need him?
  9. I think Rangers have trouble with the concept of clubs, teams, companies, holding companies... that kind of thing. Apparently, since that letter, they've discovered that, although the club was formed in 1873, the team actually played twice in 1872. I believe they actually played those two games as 'Argyle' rather than 'Ranger's. No wonder their fans are so confused.
  10. In the wee small hours, how does someone like this live with himself? Is the acquisition of wealth, for the sake of it, enough to compensate for the fact that the rest of the world (one wee, blue corner excepted) sees you as a complete and worthless kunt?
  11. It is for the Rangers fans. For United fans it's all about the excitement of the chase for 3rd and for the Cup.
  12. If verified, this will be interesting. Will hard-headed Laxey actually say they're willing to withdraw and at no cost to Rangers? I.e. Laxey willingly giving up on £300K? I suspect not but I'm prepared to be surprised.
  13. Of course, the version above doesn't carry the baggage of centuries of bile.
  14. I' I've never understood this need to get (mainly) thick ex-footballers to comment on the modern game. It's like asking a squaddie to comment on how the battle went ("Well, I hid in my foxhole for a couple of hours and then somebody said we'd won"). Who wants to hear some has-been telling us that "it's three-on-two in a breakaway"? It's TV ffs - I can see for myself. The odd intelligent ex-manager might have something to say but DJ and his ilk are hardly going to add anything to what your average fan already knows. Andy Gray's tactics board was interesting but never went far enough. I'd love a TV stream that gave a bit of the context before the match starts, showed the score and had a voice reading out who's on the ball - and even the latter is almost redundant given high-def TV pictures.
