Will the BBC ask Leeann Dempster some lame questions at half time where she says everything is on plan but we have some small issues and then cut back to the pitch side where she is then praised for doing a good job.

Won Hibs the Scottish Cup and nearly got Queen’s Park to the Prem. She’ll get another high profile job on the basis of the headlines on the CV. Nobody will bother scratching the surface.

What’s the chances o’ware gets registered as a player also. Genuinely wouldn’t surprise me given how lacking and generally dreadful we are at the back

See to be honest, this isn’t a terrible shout. Crisis management stuff, but we are where we are. Played 150 games in the Championship and is only 30, so you’d hope his legs still work.

An article online that Tam O’Ware is leaving Kelty Hearts to take up an opportunity at Queen’s Park.

Reading this I hope it means that he is going to be part of a revised set up under a new head coach, not that the farcical interim set up that we have in place currently is going to be extended

If we continue to do the same thing and expect different results, we’ll richly deserve the relegation that comes our way.

There won't be a better option than Bowyer in my opinion. Just give him what he wants and a massive bonus for keeping us in the Championship. Urgency is required.

Aye, knows the league and has managed from youth level to Championship in England. You can’t underestimate how good a job you’d have to have done to get basket case Blackpool promoted when he was there as well. Seems to have a decent eye for a player. If there’s a more obvious candidate, I can’t see them.

Tempted to stop you there at “well run club” but I largely agree.

The kicker for us is that we’re shopping for a new DoF as well as a manager.

So far ‘the project’ is looking naive at best, criminally negligent at worst - so are we changing strategy? Does the new DoF need to be in place before we appoint a manager?

    f**k only knows.

Where are we playing next season? Can pretty much guarantee we’ll start thinking about this in April.

Seriously? Do you want someone (anyone!!!!!) in within a week and no longer, or do you want the right person in? Given the director of football (who would normally be the man looking for new managers) had resigned and, I'm assuming, the club were going to give Veldman a wee run at it, I can't see there being anyone getting fitted for his QP trackie before the ICT game in anticipation of Veldman going.

We just need to wait and hope that Pep gets released by City for his next big adventure.

It happens in football the world over. Steve Cooper binned at Forest today, while Nuno Espírito Santo is already on the flight to Nottingham to sign the deal that’s already been agreed. It’s not nice, but it’s a cutthroat business.

I don’t think there’s anyone connected with Queen’s Park who thought Veldman was going to last. It’s another example of the club reacting to events, rather than looking into the distance for solutions before fairly predictable events occur. If we haven’t been sounding people out for weeks, we’ve once again not being doing our job properly.

Also, it’s not like we haven’t done this before. Mark Roberts sacked on Hogmanay and Ray McKinnon in on January 2nd. It would be naive in the extreme to think that hadn’t been in the pipeline. You don’t approach someone and come to an immediate agreement on New Year’s Day.

  7. Thoughts on the game aside, it’s a shame this is on the Friday. Saturday afternoon would have seen a much healthier crowd. Many do United fans think you’ll bring?

The vibe around the club couldn’t be more starkly different to this time last season. 4-1 win at Arbroath was one of the great away days of my time. Liquid football in a hurricane, liquid pints, Christmas time, Boateng and wine and Owen Coyle being serenaded at the end.

The petulant tantrum he threw when getting hooked yesterday probably sums it up.

No wonder tbh. Nobody would suggest he’s in the form of his life, but you can at least see he’s bursting a gut. Even a below par Dom Thomas is the most likely guy in the team to make something happen. Taking him off was absolutely insane.

Watched red card multiple times and still find it hard to decide from the angle of the camera. If he's stood on his foot/ankle from behind then it's a yellow but if he's raked him down the back of the calf then the red card is fair.

Looks a definite red to me. Not that it really mattered. You could probably have had another couple sent off and we’d still have passed the ball around in front of your defence at a snails pace, before clipping the ball over and out for a goal kick.

  10. Unacceptable performance. Talk of that being an improvement is complete fantasy. We couldn’t even take advantage of the decisions that went our way. A man advantage for more than half the game and we barely laid a glove on them.

We move the ball so slowly and the final ball is more in hope than anything. How many times are we going to lose that same goal this season? It’s an absolute embarrassment.

Whole state of the club is absolutely rotten. Devoid of leadership. It’d be easy to absolve the players of blame as a result of that, but these guys are on half decent money and are supposed to be full-time professionals. They need to show much, much more. Cal Ferrie aside, is there a single player in that squad playing anywhere close to the standards we know they can reach?

People on significantly less money than they are, are spending hundreds, probably actually into four figures following the team home and away across the season. Four months without a win is an absolute disgrace, regardless of which way you spin it. We need a manager in soon and some experienced heads in in January. If both these things don’t happen, we’re going down.

Tommy Robson came over to speak to the fans and it went quickly downhill. A few "f**k offs" exchanged in both directions.

Aye. I was involved in the exchange of views. Came over to the support and it was explained that perhaps our performance hadn’t met the required level. Escalated into a robust exchange of opinions. Neither of our finest hours, but emotions were running high. He’s very low on the list of folk I’m actually pissed off with at Queen’s Park tbh.

I was slightly worried that we missed a chance to play you under veldman with the postponement but if this guy is still in charge for the rearrangement  that’s not as much of a problem.  Sounds like your still committed to philosophyball despite all the evidence

I’m becoming convinced that they’re trying to sicken us into Malky. There is nothing that could sicken me to that level, right enough.
