Definite improvement. Soft as hell penalty and apart from the Brownlie/Bannigan cock up that led to it, the defence looked pretty solid which is a major plus. Cardle was definitely lucky to stay on the pitch. Rudden looked off the pace when he came on but sure both him and Graham will get goals but we need a league win pretty damn quick

He is lucky to be getting an extension, so it’s time for him to step up now. I was delighted when we signed him but he has been a huge disappointment this season. We have the worst defensive record in the league which tells its own story.

Personally I would prefer Berra at this moment in time. Still supreme in the air, though hasn’t got the legs anymore. Every time a ball comes into our area panic sets in. Berra would surely sort that and bring some semblance of organisation at the back. That’s as depressed as I have seen McCall at an after match JZ interview since he came back. Rudden was feeling his thigh in the warm up and they decided not to risk him as if it went he would be out for weeks. They expect him to be fit for Friday!

Graham and Rudden both 9/2 for first goal on Saturday and 15/8 to score anytime with Skybet!

If we can get Graham in, this must go down, certainly on paper, as our best ever January window. McCall has addressed just about all our problem area’s maybe with the exception of central defence though young Lee does say in his JZ interview that he can play across the defensive positions. I reckon McCall still thinks there is an outside chance of making the Top 4 this season which frankly would be amazing given the team/squad we kicked the season off with.

Bannigan and MacKinnon are walking yellow card magnets so he'll probably get quite a few games then Bannigan on JZ last week said he hasn’t been booked in (from memory) his last 7 games and it’s an area he has been told to improve on. Do agree about McKinnon though!

Not doubting what Raith fans are saying but he must have something if Sevco gave him an extension to his last contract but like everyone else I am not sure where he is going to fit in!

If we can get O’Connor, Graham and anther central defender in by the end of January I will be delighted. McCall also said the players have been told the two targets for the rest of the season is getting up the table asap and ensuring we are in the cup final.

Who knows, but he made it clear that he knows who he wants and he will get them. Whether that’s in this window or the next is the question. I would assume that we will be needing more than 5 in the summer as I can see him clearing out quite a few of the current team by the end of the season

Just to annoy Gav even further, McCall on JZ tonight saying he wants another 3, 4 or maybe even 5 in, though it wasn’t clear whether that’s just this window......and he says he will get them!!

If we get Graham, that a pretty potent strike force on paper!! If we get Mayo he might shift Saunders to right back.
