  1. I think we’ve done okay tonight without really creating anything but I’m absolutely fuming at the marking for that goal. Even before the corner came in Ashcroft was standing with nae c**t near him and it was the easiest header he’ll ever have.
  2. Spending actual money on Seb Ross or giving Jaime Wilson a two-year contract after a trial - what’s worse?
  3. WIth '700+' sold as of this evening and the club shop opening early tomorrow until 4pm, I'd like to think we'd perhaps hit around the 900 mark. We're some fucking bunch, eh? #crowdwank
  4. I don’t necessarily disagree with the logic of this, but I also feel it’s a semi-decent chance to progress and make a bit more money with a decent tie. It’s also versus Dundee. f**k Dundee.
  5. I love Leon McCann. He works his arse off, gives us another dimension going forward and is nowhere near as poor defensively as some on here make out. It's also clear that he just gets it, too. A few more wins and he'll be thumping the badge and I for one shall be fucking lapping it up.
  6. A brilliant performance and grounds for a legitimate crowdwank. What a Saturday.
  7. Will post more later but word to Nesbitt. He’s been rightly criticised but to me that was his best performance in a Falkirk shirt in well over a year. Chased everything and great ball for the third goal.
  8. That’s our best home half in years that. Happy to admit I hadn’t been convinced by Alegria up to this point but he’s been absolutely brilliant today. Need to keep this up and we’ll be building up a right bit of momentum. To a man we’ve been class so far.
  9. What a finish, fair play to the boy. Hopefully that sets him on a run now. He’s been superb today.
  10. Would have had Burrell in but other than that can’t complain.
  11. Any idea how many Dundee tickets we’ve shifted?
  12. Harrison wasn’t great but he wasn’t the worst in the sense that he looked like he actually gave a little bit of a shit, which put him streets ahead of folk like Lewis, Froxylias, Haber, TOE, Turner etc. Seeing the names which comprised that squad still gives me the absolute fear. On a somewhat related note, Hartley has had a fucking miserable start to life at Hartlepool. Pleasing.
  13. I thought Alegria played well enough yesterday and had some nice touches. He brings other players into the game quite well. My concern is how long can we realistically go on saying "he just needs a goal"? I agree that if he gets one, he'd likely go on and score a few more - he looks the definition of a confidence player in that respect. With a significant number of the chances he's had in front of goal in the last few games. he's looked absolutely petrified. He might get his first goal against Queens and kick on - I hope he does - but what if he doesn't? How long do you persist with him ahead of the other two realistic striking options, especially when both Oliver and Burrell are on 2 and 1 league goals with less game time? I read Raith fans saying McGlynn isn't too bothered about strikers scoring as long as they bring something else to the team - in that respect, Alegria might keep his place on the basis of his other attributes. My only concern is that while it might be okay to pass up chances against the Edinburgh's and the Peterhead's, where you're liable to get multiple opportunities, against the Dunfermlines of this league, you might only get one or two and we'll have to be clinical. It's an interesting dilemma to have. Hopefully he does get one and then score a barrowload, but it's something to consider.
  14. Ideally the changes I’d be looking to make too. Hoping Williamson isn’t out for too long so Yeats can slot back in.
  15. Also a special shoutout to Gary Oliver who was outstanding.
