As a Pars fans I was looking forward to next season, not in the SPL. The chance of avoiding our (deserved on footballing) relegation is really not that appealing. However, I'm livid at even the tiniest possibility that some b*****d son of zombie Rangers could end up in the First Division now. No to newco in SFL.

This is from HMRC Twitter... HM Revenue & Customs @HMRCgovuk #Rangers liquidation gives best chance to protect taxpayers and allows sale of club to a new company, ensuring football continues at Ibrox. Why are they ensuring that football continues at Ibrox? Have they done a deal or is it just a smokescreen?

Little Blue Robbing Hood suddenly notice grandma's teeth and claws... THE Rangers Fans Fighting Fund want Charles Green to get his "cards on the table" before they encourage supporters to buy season tickets...the RFFF are concerned about the secrecy still surrounding the former Sheffield United chief executive's consortium and how they plan to fund the club. Green has pledged £8.5million but the CVA document revealed that £8.3million of that is a loan to be repaid back with interest by 2020. RFFF committee member Andy Kerr wants a meeting as soon as possible with Green to get answers. He said: "There are key questions to be asked about finances and investors and there is a direct correlation between the answers to those questions and season tickets. We are worried it might be no different to 12 months ago when the club was bought with borrowed money (by Craig Whyte). On the face of it, it appears no different." But the wolf is keeping his disguise on in case all of Robbing Hood's pals see through it... "The RFFF had hoped to meet with him on Wednesday but he couldn't make it.

from Pars forum... Really cracking down on the bad apples... John Barnes @JohnBarnes01 Celtic & Rangers given SPL permission to play glamour friendlies on second week of new season. 11/12 August John Barnes @JohnBarnes01 @SPLstats I think that's why it's HOME teams that can postpone to play friendlies John Barnes @JohnBarnes01 @SPLstats They are both being scheduled by SPL to play at home that weekend So irrespective of how the situation evolves with rangers, the SPL in it's current guise has arranged for both teams to be at home on the same day, to get round it's own clause. The same two clubs who are not allowed to be cast at home. It's actually laughable how corrupt the league is.

Taken from the Cockwomble's latest interview in the Daily Record... “The clubs have taken responsibility. Should there be any newco application in the future, the clubs will deal with it and sanction appropriately. “If there is a newco you have two ways of dealing with it. One is to have flexibility, the other is fixed sanctions. “The clubs have agreed they will impose sanctions depending on the circumstance. That is their view and one I respect as it is very sensible. “The SPL have set out 18 wide-ranging sanctions and it is up to the clubs to pick which ones to impose.” This could be hopeful. He seems to be saying that the SPL will be able to treat any Cheating Tax Dodgers FC newco as a new case under these rules. Therefore the SPL will be able to impose any of the 18 new sanctions available to them when/if CTD FC apply as a newco. There are two caveats though. Firstly, it's the Cockwomble, so I don't actually believe a word he says. Secondly the 18 brand new, shiny sanctions could include a hard stare and a 'gonnae no do that again pal'.

In summary then... 1. Rangers (IA)/Muff & Phanny have spent money they don't have, in order to get the right to 2. Spend more money they don't have on behalf of an organisation that about to be 3. Liquidated due to lack of the necessary funds to operate as a going concern having 4. Not made any long terms savings in the operating costs of the business thereby 5. Betraying the interests of the creditors whom they are supposed to represent and 6. Putting all other Scottish clubs and the national team at risk of expulsion from international competition while they 7. Continue to line their pockets with other people's money ...so of course we need them to keep our game healthy.

Un funking believable. The BBC headline online is Rangers' administrators upbeat over CVA proposal The first line in the story is Rangers' administrators have told BBC Scotland they are still unable to reveal details of their company voluntary arrangement proposal. Do they even have editors to check this unrelenting shower of shite?

From Barcabhoy on RTC. Seems to dispel some of the wilder excesses of imagination from recent days, but also focuses the attention beautifully... Barcabhoy says:29/05/2012 at 6:33 am 29 2 Rate This there has been a lot of speculation surrounding the news that more is to come out about Rangers and the seriousness of what is still to be revealed. the first thing however is to dispel some of the wider rumours that have been doing the rounds. this is not about match fixing, its not about bribing referees, its not about political interference , its not about banks behaving inappropriately or illegally . I have absolutely no knowledge of any of these things. It is also highly unfair that individuals who have not been involved in any wrongdoing are speculated about. As i posted earlier the information I alluded to is not my story. I can therefore only provide a little bit of information at this time. When I am allowed to I will post more. Timing is not in my control. The BBC documentary touched on EBT beneficiaries and the amounts they received. The nuclear information takes this further. I am able only to give you this initial bit of information just now, however the significance is enormous . “Graeme Souness received much more than just the 30k Mark Daly mentioned. Rangers supporters, Scottish football administrators, and the legal authorities in Scotland deserve to know why he received this money a decade after leaving Rangers’ employment?” Maybe Mr Souness could enlighten us, or maybe one his chums in the MSM could provide him with a platform to deny this.

A basic search on Cockwomble using Google.co.uk now brings up Neil Doncaster on Pie & Bovril 6 pages in. It seems to me that we're having some success in linking the cockwomble, Neil Doncaster to the site cockwomble.org that clearly and undeniably links Neil Doncaster to a site that embodies his whole cockwomblish persona. It's my understanding that Google spiders take some time to crawl these links, so we just need to keep up the effort. In that spirit (and with apologies for anyone looking for actual, meaningful content)... Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble. Neil Doncaster is a Cockwomble and he's made a right fuckbungle of this whole affair.

Just putting this story in perspective. I'm following it from China, so I checked the BBC news application this morning. It wasn't even one of the top UK sports stories, so I checked Scottish news. It wasn't a top story. I know the BBC is shite, but this story is JUST NOT NEWS. Global brand my arse.

If Reynard is right Its basically a noising up exercise rather than a money collecting one. HMRC like to pretend they are playing hardball with you all the time, That might suggest that HMRC will take this chance to make an example of a 'big' club that might influence the behaviour of some genuinely big clubs in the Premiership?
