  1. Well he was working his notice, so it's safe to assume he got paid off. So that's 3 salaries for managers and now McCall will need a salary to bring in a coach. Where's the money coming from?
  2. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg. Causing offense is not an offense.
  3. You know you are in a bad way when you're relying on getting the better of Brechin over two games just to get into the playoffs to get out of League One.
  4. A couple of weeks late... Fair fa, your lying sleekit face New chieftain o' the Sevco race Aboon then a' yet tak your place Murray, Green, Whyte Weel are ye wordy o' a grace Yer club's in shite Mike Ashley's pockets now ye fill He owns the stores and locks the till He pays yer wages at least until The cash runs dry While thro' fans eyes the tears distill They can but cry His knife see trusted Derek dight Did cut you up wi ready sleight Trenching your gushing entrails bright Like ony ditch And then, O what a glorious sight Mike Ashley's rich So Sevco fans they stretch and strive Outside the Big Hoose on they drive Till a' their weel-swalled kytes belyve Are bent like drums The Sons of Struth, their club deprived Like homeless bums And over in his French chateau We offer him a wry 'chapeau' The bold Sir Green with spivs in tow They'll take a charge Looks down wi sneering, scornfu glow His hands still large Poor devil! Crying owre his sash As feckles as wither'd rash His bowler hat sits in the trash His nieve a nit His Clumpany has got no cash It's in the shit But mark Mike Ashley's CEO The trembling fans will watch him go Put Ally on gard'ning leave and so He'll tak their money An diddy clubs will point and know It's awful funny Ye Powers wha mhak the SFA And SPFL powerless be Auld Scotland wants nae cheating fae One club wi' dangers But, if ye wish her gratefu' say RIP Rangers
  5. Craig and Charles went up the stairs And Criagy taped the meeting They trousered almost all the cash Now Sevco fans are greeting
  6. So, Friday 13th approaches. Home match against Hibs, which could see Hibs move up to 2nd place with a win. Given that Hibs gave them a doing in the first league match at Ibrox, I will be shocked if they can't repeat it once more. Could the crowd be even lower than for the cup match?
  7. Friday tomorrow. Have filled the bath full of jelly and the bin full of ice cream (washed it first). Premature?
  8. Sensible move by The Rovers. Don't chuck money in a black hole in the hope that you might get it back.
  9. Well done The Rovers (again) for refusing to take any sh1t from The Rangers. If only the SPFL had the same sense.
  10. With 2015 just around the corner can I wish everyone on here a Happy New Rangers in the year ahead?
  11. Who'd of thought we'd end 2014 with Sevco in a worse state than 2013? One manager on gardening leave and another 'manager' without a clue. Yet another boardroom rift in the offing. Onerous contracts in place and mounting up. 15 points off the top of the table in the Championship with a decent chance of not even getting out of the division. Glorious. Another Valentine's Day administration? Could it really be that perfect all over again? Looking forward to the gift that keeps on giving keeping on giving in 2015. Happy New Sevco to all.
  12. I wonder if all of the recent redundancies at Ibrox will even save the 750,000 that going to be bulging out of Ally's back pocket soon?
  13. No wonder people don't watch TV anymore. You couldn't pay for better entertainment than this.
  14. I honestly don't know what I'll do for entertainment If T'Rangers of T'New Rangers ever get their sh1t together. Fortunately that looks like being a long way off.
  15. Anyone care to guess what the crowd on Saturday against Cowdenbeath is going to be like? They'll be hoping for a big travelling support from the Blue Brazil to make up the shortfall I think. Will they close any sections of the stadium to save money?
  16. Relax. Breathe. Wait until we're at least half way through the season and then have a look at the table.
  17. The Ashley stranglehold tightens... The Board of Rangers announces that it has appointed Derek Llambias as a non-executive director. He was nominated as a director of its choice by MASH Holdings Limited pursuant to its agreement to withdraw its requisition for a General Meeting, as set out in the announcement dated 27 October 2014. Mr Llambias has been acting as a consultant to the board of Rangers since 28 October 2014. Mr Llambias held various positions including Managing Director of Newcastle United Football Club between 2008 and 2013. Prior to this he has been involved in a number of leisure and gaming businesses In accordance with Rangers' Articles of Association, Mr Llambias will be subject to re-election by ordinary resolution of the shareholders of the Company at the upcoming Annual General Meeting which is expected to be held in December. Any news on the date of that AGM yet? Jelly and ice cream for Christmas dinner anyone?
  18. So in a few days Mike Ashley's placemen report back to him, having seen the books. "Any current re-structuring is deckchairs on the Titanic, boss." They duly report back. "OK boys", he replies. "Your mission until the money runs out is to put me in a place where I can pick the whole lot up for 1 pound (that's the going rate, I hear) when we pile it into administration in January." He can then get shot of all of the high earners and get his very own onerous contracts in place at the same time as 'straightening out the mess' that he inherited.
  19. Two comments in the Daily Record ‘exclusive’ interview with Barry Ferguson… 1. “FORMER Rangers skipper wants someone with the club’s best interests at heart pulling the strings rather than those more concerned with balance sheets. 2. The fans deserve a break. They just want their club run properly again.” So, apparently the fans want the club run properly, but that means not having a concern for the balance sheet. The simplest summary ever of the problems with The Rangers.
  20. If there was a choice between Ashley and King I think I would go with Ashley. He needs a team on the park so that he can keep shifting strips. At least I can see that Ashley benefits to some extent from a successful club. However, there is clearly another choice. As a Pars fan I can tell you that having the fans in control has made supporting my team more fun and engaging that it has been in my whole lifetime so far. The real choice is for the fans to walk away and start their own club. The only way the spivs will lose interest is if the golden goose stops laying eggs. It's the fans that keep pumping in the money that the spivs are extracting. You need to make that stop,
  21. I'm genuinely confused by the desire to have King involved. He was part of the regime that killed your club first time around. He's a convicted fraudster and he didn't bother his arse when he could have bought the assets from Duff & Duffer for 50p and a bag of chips. His attempts to influence or remove the current regime have been futile and pretty pathetic. Seriously, why on earth would any Rangers fan want him anywhere near your club? I'm prepared to believe he may be somewhat better than the current spivfest, but surely you could set the bar a bit higher?
  22. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/rangers/rangers-fans-turn-up-heat-on-board-183648n.25536056 According to this article the Sons of Struth are planning to really hit the board where it hurts by...turning up in large numbers to a league match to support the team. Hmm, that'll show them. Then they're going to boycott a midweek League Cup match (that the vast majority of them probably wouldn't plan on attending anyway). The spivs must be quaking in their boots. They will round this all off when they "...assemble in a public place and perform a seemingly pointless act for a brief period of time" (Their own words). Isn't that what they've been doing the whole time?
