  1. Making myself a scran and it is going to be a 'make it up as you go along' recipe using a chilli shrimp sauce I used on Friday. I think I used too much on Friday, my arse on Saturday morning ! My piles!

Going to be adding a wee mixture of coriander/spring onions/ garlic that has been pulverised. Pak Choi, green beans, tin of sardines and brown rice (for the fibre).

  2. I was driving today and I heard a bang. I looked to see my left side wing mirror was slammed into the window. I was sure I was nowhere near the parked cars. I had a look in my rear view mirror and I could see someone next to a parked car with his arms in the air and waving them about like he was angry. I was like...shit! There was a queue of traffic behind me so I did not stop but pulled in when I came to a bus stop.

I had a look at my mirror, the glass was still okay but the back was missing, I thought about going back to the guy to apologise but I never did. I drove home and had another look at my mirror, I managed to fit it back in tried the electrics, it worked okay, I was only missing the back of the wing mirror.

I sat in the car and thought about what had just happened and decided to walk back to where I thought I had hit another car. I was thinking that, maybe, the guy in the other car opened his door and that was why my wing mirror was broken. Maybe, he had not bothered to look in his mirror to see if it was okay to open his door and my mirror had hit his open door so it would have been his fault that we had this small collision.

I walked to the place where the accident had happened but I could not see any damaged car and I could not see the back of my wing mirror. Hmm! Maybe, he has picked up the cover to use as evidence against me. Maybe, he will find out what kind of car hit his by examining the piece of my car he has in his possession.

Okay, I should call my insurance company and call the police and own up. It was me and it was an accident, I drove away,I was wrong, I am sorry.

I walked home and I had something to eat and I thought about it. After eating I decided I would have another look to see if I could find the car I hit, to see how much damage there was. I walked to where I thought I had hit a car but instead of finding a damaged car I found the bit of my wing mirror that was missing. Brilliant! I picked it up and went home.

Now I am thinking that the guy in my rear view mirror was just some guy talking to another guy and he had not seen me hit the other car, that the other car I hit was not damaged but only my own and that I should forget about telling the insurance company and telling the police and that I should keep the wing mirror cover as my reward .

The people advocating for 100% inheritance tax, are they expecting the state to just seize all assets upon death?

If you die in debt does the debt get passed onto the state?

This might be a good idea after all.

This argument seems to imply that not only should government/society/whoever dictate what happens to your money after you die, they can also proscribe what you can do with it at any time while you're still alive. Where's the line to be drawn between buying your kids an ice cream and buying them a house? (Or at least helping out with the deposit?)

The distribution of wealth (both absolute and relative) is a subject that long predates communism, and maybe even capitalism itself. Did you ever read Aristophanes' "Plutus"?

I'm not giving my money to the the government/Tories after I die.

I'm going to be selfish and leave it to my nephews and niece.

He looks jovial . A step in the right direction, they are usually angry looking folks.

Shankland is being completely shown up at international level and no amount of mewling from Hearts fans will change that. He was fucking arse against Morton ffs.

Shankland isn't good enough to play for a great team like Liverpool or Man Utd but he is a clever player. Him and Ferguson did more than Dykes and Christie. Both those players are hard workers but they are not as good footballers.
