Europe looks a certainty for Bologna now, potentially champions league but for sure Europa or Conference League at a minimum.
Wonder if it will be enough to keep him there. Exciting time in his career either way
They play Inter next weekend. Almost as big as the game next Monday.

There's no set rule because different individuals settle at different rates, but you will form an initial impression within the first few appearances. What's important is being able to admit when your first impression was wrong.
From what I can read online, some fans make their mind up before the player is even signed, even when they don't know the player. A lot of fans need to remember that highlight reels are deceptive and that stats alone don't tell the entire story.
What about your players from yesterday?
A few of them look like projects and not ready to play week in week out.
Which ones will make the grade?

He knows the paranoia around Beaton, he's not daft. Rather than blame Robertson, he calls out Beaton directly. It's piss poor, but not surprising.
Amazed he's not said Celtic got a soft penalty anywhere either. Almost as if it wouldn't fit the narrative.
I wouldn't put it past Beaton to cheat but the final decision is with the referee and Beaton did chop off a Hearts goal for offside.

Yep, he is only winding Shankland up.

Our injury situation is back to being a joke
Their team lacks a bit experience. O'Riley and Maeda are top players though.

A season is mental, imo.
Myziane Maolida had an absolute car crash on his debut v Rangers - honestly looked like he had never seen a fitba before in his life.
Lots were writing him off, quoting his old boss at Hertha saying he was lazy etc etc.
He now has 3 goals in 8 matches, clearly has bags of skill and is the new Maradona.
Fitba fans are fickle fuckers...................
Yep, I think a year is a long time to wait.
We have Fraser on loan for half a season, I think he needs to play more games if we want to sign him, we can't really judge how good he is just now.

I'm usually giving a player 12 games as a free hit but after that I want o see some improvement.
Phil Clement was on the radio yesterday saying he has a rule and gives the player a season to settle in.
Maybe I expect too much from a new signing. Typical Hearts fan. What about you?

It's not going to to happen, I quite like Aberdeen but Cormack is up your typical egotistical millionaire who thinks he knows everything so would be very funny if he was to take them down with all the cash he's spent. At present he's arguably a worse owner than Milne was which is saying something.
Milne took sides with the Old Firm when we had a chance to change Scottish football. He can't be worse than Milne.

Warnock is getting too much stick. Blamed for everything. Aberdeen will not get relegated. If Warnock has thought it would be easy in Scotland it will be because Dave Cormack/Baffles has told him about he'll have the best players in Scotland (outside the OF) to work with.

It's not about being delicate little flowers though - how motivated would you be to work for your boss if he walked about the office loudly telling everyone how shit you were at your job?

His main strength is supposed to be man management.
It is his hidden strength, he just hasn't found it yet. He is old, he has misplaced it.

This seems a bit much.
It has been five league games, discounting Rangers where by Warnock's own admission he had next to no input, with a very flawed and unbalanced squad. These results and performances could just have easily have been produced with Leven in charge. It is still too small a sample size to be demanding a sacking, even if we have not had the bounce we hoped.
We have to guard against reading too much into what he - or indeed any manager - says in interviews, too. I think Miovski is brilliant, but he was poor at the first goal against Kilmarnock and I don't think it is exactly outrageous for his manager to briefly note that. If Miovski is to have the career he is capable of having, he will have managers who will criticise him and expect a reaction. I don't think it's a big issue.
It seems to be the case now that a manager cannot criticise the players because they are all delicate little flowers and he can't hurt their feelings because that is unfair.

St Mirren having an excellent season and they are still in the race for the title.
Update when you are ready @johnnydun

If we are going to a back 3 then it's more than likely to be Sibbick in for Kent.
So, Cochrane pushing forward on the left. He can take Johnston. I think he got the better of him at Parkhead. Taylor goes missing in action on the other side of the park so it could be Dexter getting picked on the right as the best part of his game is when he gets forward. Shankland score against Celtic so we have a threat, it's brutal playing against them without a threat, we have something for them to worry about.

Last week we lost 5-0 to Rangers then we got a lucky draw with Hibs plus Celtic are back on form so Sunday isn't looking good.
Last time we played Celtic at Tynecastle Naismith was full of confidence and spoke about going toe to toe with Celtic. He put out an attacking team and the players were left chasing shadows as we lost 4-1.
I don't know how he is going to play this one, I think he might have to pack the midfield as the defence is looking shaky.

That'll be Aberdeen 2nd bottom of the Diddyship. A game in hand though.

I don't think Beni will be dropped, but I think Devlin may come in for Grant. I want to see a flat back 4 as well and Forrest and Vargas off of Shankland. Disappointed Oda is aout completely as he'd be a great option off the bench when the game stretches.
It's a shame we are missing Oda again. my thinking with Beni was that he might be rested and back this weekend. If he is okay to play then fine but he was being rested not too long ago.

I'm expecting to see a few changes to the team. Fraser in for Grant, Devlin for Beni, dropping a centre half and giving Forrest a start. Maybe more than that.

I hope we turn up nice and refreshed after our weekend break there, if we start with Rowles and Atkinson, I worry, if we don't, we win, it's that simple!
Atkinson is better than Dexter. I wouldn't have Dexter as a defender. Maybe put Sibbick back in the team if Atkinson is dropped.

He should have, it was an obvious foul on Cochrane or just two players going for the same ball and play on.
