  1. Looking at the Lowry situation now I would say that he came to Hearts to try and win a contract with the club because he is not good enough to play for Rangers. We have decided he is to good enough to play for Hearts so he has left.

Before he signed the loan deal fans were scared we were just being used to develop the player for Rangers but he hasn't a hope of playing for them.

You would be wrong. Fresh tomatoes are glorious.

I just hate the taste of raw celery - even mixed through other stuff, I find it to be the dominant taste.

    They are bitter like dandelions.

I think it's more fear of trying something outwith their comfort zone.

I have Welch fishmonger not far from me but I usually buy the same stuff even although there is so much to choose from. I don't want to waste money on something I don't know how to cook properly and the fish is so expensive.

For me tea is like whisky, if you feel the need to mix it, you're drinking the wrong stuff. You can get it from a Chinese supermarket, and that'd probably be my first stop, I think one of those ones up the bridges sells some half decent stuff which will give you a good idea of what it's about.

If you enjoy that then, again like whisky, it's about how far down the rabbit hole you wish to go. The best stuff tends to be over three years old but less than fifteen. Even the stuff from the Chinese supermarket will be like drinking Lagavulin after a lifetime of Glen's Vodka though.

Let me know how it goes.

I'm going to do this. I need to buy a teapot first. I have to make sure I buy the right teapot but I think I might need to buy a couple.

White teas (like Pu Er) are up there with Irn Bru Energy when it comes to giving a lasting, edgy blast of nervous energy.

I had a search yesterday after reading this and I saw that there are two types. Sheng & Shu. They don't taste the same. The one you describe must be the Sheng (gives extra energy and can disturb sleep). Might come in handy.

Puer tea is sensational. Actually, quality tea is a great investment. You can get some very good stuff for pennies per cup. Blows Twinings and the like out of the water.

I will have to try this. Do you drink it on its own? You buy it from Chinese Supermarket?

My usual tea is Assam from Twinings. Black, no milk or sugar.

Today I bought another Twinings tea - Turmeric with orange and star anise. It was on sale so I am going to give it a try.

  6. End of season - OF win the title then Hearts, Killie, Aberdeen and then a n other.

    Livi going down.

Naismith talks about getting the structure right and we have looked organised and we play as a team but sometimes we look a mess after the subs come on. They need to work on that.

If the players comeback from injury okay then the 2nd half will be better than the first.

McKinlay also the club spoke about the difficulties of appointing a manager and revealed other candidates were sounded out.

"There does feel there is sometimes a misplaced sense of who we can legitimately attract," he said. "We were also acutely aware of this through private discussions we had with Aberdeen as they had gone through the same process. I can confirm that we directly or indirectly sounded out a number of other possible candidates."

This is the quote I was thinking of.

That was interesting. I do think you need to back your manager. He did really well last season. Doesn't make sense to have a high turnover of managers.

For us, wee Naismith wanting to bring through the youths is good to hear.

It's part of a new joint venture by the clubs to pool resoures and become a stronger force.

The new entity will be called Aberdeen not of Midlothian

We will have to have further discussions on the name change.

And what about that business with the sheep? Do we have to get involved with that?

I thought it was interesting when I read an article about the hearts AGM. They had asked about naismiths appointment and it came out that they’d had discussions with our board about the difficulty in sourcing a manager and the level of quality they could attract. Suggested to me we’ll be reluctant to get back into that mess anytime soon.

I never heard about this. Our board spoke to your board about the difficulty in hiring a manager? am I getting that right?
