  1. The reality is no matter how many they have coming through the door and the more they have the more they will want in terms of quality on the park (not Douglas of course). The overheads have to come down but can they ? to make the thing viable. The previous regime carried out a review of the business and were in the process of carrying that out, however that plan accelerated the opposition to their actions, so if those changes are necessary do they have some Orwellian double take ? Those changes were necessary to fulfill WH Irelands continued status as NOMAD so if that plan to reduce costs are no longer on the agenda will any NOMAD be willing to take up responsibility to the shareholders and AIM. So how do you get more in while tempering ambition and reducing overheads. OK King could return from SA with a suitcase stuffed with Rands he "found' on the way to the airport then short term things would tick along but the problems have been there since the previous clubs existed throughout the Minty years so this is not news but a truth that no one speaks as it upsets the hordes. Given they seem incapable of accepting that they are a financial disaster and the Bill Murray guy who said they had a £30 million blackhole in the accounts was the last honest guy who went through the door of the Big Hoos. I do believe a level of brinkmanship between the various factions exists in terms of investment with King leading the charge you would think the onus should be on him to pony up first and with the largest slice since he will be steering the ship, even if he hasn't got his hands on the wheel he is still there as the leading name. Will the SFA not have an issue with this if MA by owning shares in two clubs broke the rules, a previous director of defunct Rangers and convictions for tax evasion would also be a concern, not that this bothers King just as the NOMAD appointment, thats how he rolls.
  2. to do an investigation who goes into something that happened 15 years ago." Aye Dave Justice King If only those rules applied to everyones inconvenient past Hillsborough, Rolf Harris, Stuart Hall, Nazi War Criminals, Max Clifford, Guildford 4, Birmingham 6, Ok perhaps if it was nicking apples out a garden but money laundering, tax evasion is probably slightly more concerning. He also overlooks when he was convicted, guys an absolute piece of work. Good guy
  3. Agree the momentum after the EGM should have kept going announcements on the investment should have for one thing silenced us a bit easing the Sevco supporters pain. Instead we had the likes of No8 shouting about good guys and the reply was where, what is the difference ? King and 3B's have been about and promoting a boycott in order for them to gain control so they must have been gearing up for the inevitable over the last year at least, so where are the plans, the investment, the impetus. King's double speak was plainly at work he was in discussions with a Nomad that would be announced on the Monday and then stated he prefered to be de listed, so he was disingenuous and I guess whatever outcome he ends up with he'll spin it with his followers as the best scenario. The money, after putting the boot into the 'spivs' would there not be an expectation of King and Co of coming up with a hefty amount to show their supporters that things have changed. That investment has been talked down the closer they have come to power that has to be a worry for the Sevconians. There is other officers a CEO but they have the likes of Gilligan who has the necessary gravitas and experience, even on a temporary basis. I don't see how another admin would help as MA would appoint any administrator and if he wanted could buy the worthless shares and get them back on the AIM and refloated just as much as DK or the other group. The only thing the ongoing saga proves is there is no good news in the short to medium term for Sevco fans unless King starts throwing money at them.
  4. If that occured that would trump all the Lolfests put together, how would they square it with the hordes. You voted to get rid of the spivs but its ok now we done a deal thats good for the club we have transformed the spivs into one of the good guys. Even Tedi and No 8 wouldn't fall for that one , would they ? I think the story will push the new board to commit funds and that might display how deep their pockets are.
  5. I would have thought with the arrival of the 'good guys' and the loyal boycotters appeased that the aforementioned 'good guys' would have announced their investment plans. They must have been working on figures even if it was only ball park figure but you would have gotten funding in preparation, especially with the vote at the EGM. Hearts fans would be a good indicator of recent boardroom takeovers after money problems and historically Dougie Rae, Stephen Thomson (not in the same financial mess obviously) and further back the Bunnet at Celtic. All came with plans as its better to keep the momentum of any business on the up. To me they expected a greater response from the support to hide the financial woes and brought in McCall with a further intent of looking to do something but actually it is papering over the structural flaws, the plight on the park is an additional Lolfest.
  6. The wife was watching Eastenders last night and I remarked on some terrible acting with 'who is that guy ?" "Thats the new Martin !" she replied I said "this is becoming an epidemic" Sevco
  7. Where would the money be coming from if not from another share issue ? If it was coming from DK he would have put it out into the public domain to get more supporters back through the turnstiles. If they can't get back on to the AIM then the chance of outside investors putting serious money would seem unlikely. Was the horse trading in the shares before King's arrival not alot of the investment companies cashing out ? Perhaps they could see the writing on the wall of WH Irelands departure with King looking likely to take over. If King is reliant on his own fan base historically with the real entity during the Minty years the appetite for the numerous schemes waned.
  8. It would appear not though will the fixation to defend the guy. There hasn't been many critical voices fron their support questioning his appointment with the 'enemies list'' the references to all sorts of unsavoury accusations of your own clubs supporters' and the what seems on the surface racism, ignorance and prejudice at every turn. Not many have asked is he our best candidate ? Does he have the required integrity for the post not just about the attitudes expressed but would he actually put his neck out and say we are in trouble or those directors are acting in an unethical manner even if there were short term gains but could jeopardise the club in future. Something that I would have thought would be a greater concern given they seem to pass through the hands of some unscrupulous business figures. CG did represent th RST very publicly he said he sent out tweets supporting Muslim community that day but could not see, no matter what people think about Choudary it had ramifications beyond the target, he knows it why don't the Sevconians?
  9. Still it was self inflicted by the nature of his own stupidity.
  10. That was his point if you read his post, he made a reference to a statement by VB.
  11. Again its not for you to say what is offensive unless you have turned to Mecca.
  12. I knew exactly the last comment was valid and if you think the rest isin't valid well his departure says I am right or the club would have defended him and he wouldn't have made an apology to defuse the issue. Not about drawing the cartoon, he didn't, he searched for it and published it via Twitter . I have no doubt Choudry is an extremist but it is offensive to Muslims, he would /could have used it to further propagandise his cause. I suppose if the context was Jesus and Mohammad fighting with light sabres and Tom Cruise as a Thetan in a star wars parody as a critique on organised religion I would have defended it as free speech but directly he sent it to offend, that is the difference. I do hope you get a suitable replacement as I think you'll need a diligent individual.
  13. The misnomer fans representative who was appointed by the new board. Might be better if they were allowed to vote their representative but then they'd end up with the 'Big Hoose must stay open !' chap.
  14. Yup ! It wasn't pressure from the supporters to make this appointment, they had time to draw up a short list interview and vet them. This is another car crash moment when supporters want a bit of respite from all the clown shoe moments. The thing is and we are partly to blame for this if they think this stuff will go away it doesn't.
  15. you berate someones assumption and then end it with your opinion, surely their guess is as valid as yours then. Hypocrite FC
  16. That must be a full time job surprised he hasn't taken on staff to cope with the deluge of amendments.
  17. Someone gets it ! and if we look at a business point of view it alienates potential markets and there is a suspicion that you are not exactly flushed with cash. Some European clubs have redesigned their badges because of the christian symbolism to appeal to other markets. This however is an individual who is now associated with representing your club and its supporters including those of the Muslim faith. There was no need to rush into this appointment and if they had any sense they would have looked at his online presence which is common place with employers and many contracts have a 'bringing the company into disrepute' caveat that is open to interpretation. So what happened to taking their time and getting the right appointments ? They could have got him to go through all his stuff and taken down any negative stuff and then announced his appointment but this is about the clamour for £, he was vocal in the boycott so he could be vocal getting the punters rolling back through the doors.
