FWIW here is the draft of the SGM letter. It won't make anything clearer but my reading is one vote on part (i) and if that is YES , then a further vote on part (ii) BUT it could be read as just ONE vote. The next part simply follows on from that. It may have been carefully worded to confuse folk after a heavy lunch. Sneaky bastids. Having said all that, the word 'vote' does not appear anywhere. (iii) That the Scottish Football League Members in terms of Rule 12 approve the resignation of either Dundee F.C. or Dunfermline Athletic F.C., whichever shall be admitted to join the Scottish Premier League for Season 2012/13, such resignation to take effect as at the date of admission of such club to the Scottish Premier League, notwithstanding that the requisite notice under Rule 12 shall not have been given.Details of the series of measures referred to at (ii) above shall be made available to the Members in advance of the meeting and an opportunity for full discussion of those measures will be given prior to the proposals being put to the meeting. Call me a cynic but rules are drawn that way deliberately so that in case of an unforseen eventuality, (e.g. the biggest, bestest most powerful club in the entire world going bust) they can be manipulated to suit. And not just in football.

There is a post on gersnet claiming that many ex-rangers fans are cancelling their Sky subscriptions as a means of showing their anger. I believe it was suggested on here that non ex rangers fans cancel their Sky subs. Two opposing viewpoints with the same outcome. I wonder if Sky is actually seeing any change and if so how can they tell which faction to blame? eta just realised it's from Leggo.

OK, point taken. In "normal" circumstances it is acceptable, then something like this shitstorm brews up.

Sounds like a silly idea to me. Easier to "influence" 8 than 30. But then again, maybe that was the original idea. I keep forgetting the machinations that go on in clubs, societies, associations etc. Lots of doublethink, which is often beyond me.
