  1. Not sure two different positive outcomes quite qualifies the game as a six pointer but I get the gist of what you're saying. We need to pick something up from this or we're going to end up in the mix at the wrong end.
  2. We REALLY need to take points from our couple of games in hand or we are going to be in deep waters with a paper thin squad in the business end of the season.
  3. Would I? Aye? Based on what exactly? My extensive (non existent) habit of calling threads bin fires? Think I've used that terminology maybe half a dozen times in the near 20 years I've been on here. But don't let that get in the way of you talking pure pish. Or in the way of the fact I'm accurately calling this absolute bin fire of a thread a bin fire of thread.
  4. Can you imagine the sheer nick of Ayr vs Falkirk threads next year? Jesus.
  5. Raith 0 - 1 Dundee United Airdrie 1 - 1 Ayr Dunfermline 0 - 1 Arbroath ICT 1 - 2 Partick Queen's Park 0 - 1 Morton
  6. Such a dislikable team and I say that as an Airdrie fan.
  7. The Perrier award is not in the offing for the recent posts here.
  8. Last seen, taps aff, swinging wildly in the car park at the Falkirk stadium, thus causing the stampede at the recent Challenge cup semi, which was initially misattributed to the police closing in on the Falkirk fearties.
  9. Looks like only 80 tickets or so still left for the home end so definitely well over 3000 out
  10. Not if youre not the BBC, the polis or a Hearts bus...
  11. Humiliation for the scrapmen? Delightful. Well in Morton.
  12. Voted for us twice just to be a dick. If I was an away fan Airdrie would be low on my list too to be fair. The good view in the ground is a big plus but other than that it's not a great experience. The couple of decent boozers in town don't really make up for that either. Queens Park is a crap stadium experience but think how many decent eating and drinking establishments there are in a 20 minute walking radius as a comparison. For best it's hard to look past Arbroath. It ticks all the boxes and even when we lose I don't think I've ever had a "bad day out" there. Second would be a toss up between Dunfermline and Thistle, the away atmosphere is usually decent in both and I always regard them as traditional league rivals from when I was a kid in the 90s and loved going to both grounds then. Both are also fairly well served with local facilities.
  13. Christ, can you imagine? This site is doing a valuable public service by distracting a lot of absolute rockets. The likes of @Jives Miguel, @SandyCromarty and @itzdrk just wandering about in their local communities instead of spamming threads on here is a shudder inducing thought.
  14. I wouldn't concern yourself, honestly. This is just his online persona. He's been doing it for years across the forum, desperate for attention from the more "box office" posters that he rarely gets.
  15. I know they've been in the seaside league for an eternity so you may have forgotten but if you think Airdrie fans are bad posters, then I have some terrible Falkirk/Navy Blue Pound shaped news for you...
  16. I think Arbroath will go down. For 9th I'd like it to be Queens Park, for, y'know, "Gretna vibes" reasons. But realistically 9th could be anyone outwith the current top 3 (although Morton would need some run of bad form to end up there). What does look highly likely is that the 40 point=safety guarantee of previous years may well not apply.
  17. Yeah I was the same, could find the league cup and Scottish cup totals as well as last year's overall prize money but nothing for the challenge cup.
  18. Many thanks as always. Given our championship status and the associated prize money, irrespective of where we finish and significantly higher cup money in all three cups to the tune of more than six figures extra (50k from LC, 35-55k from CC and at least 71k from the SC as opposed to last year's 39k total) it's not inconceivable that we will be essentially tripling or nore last years 140k overall competition prize money this season. If the season finished today we would be trousering in the region of 460k
  19. Just out of curiosity what's the prize money like for the Challenge cup nowadays? Can't see figures anywhere. Assume we'll also get TV money on top? @Skyline Drifter any idea?
  20. What about the other games last season? And the season before that? And the one before that? Etc etc
