  1. Clearly, if you're going to ban something to "protect people from themselves", then Liverpool council should be banning all alcohol sales.

And if were going down that road, what's next?

    Smoking? Extreme sports? Scaffolding?

Seems a strange world when someone is banned from betting a fiver on a machine, yet can legally become addicted to alcohol, lose their job, destroy their family, wreck their liver and become a burden to the taxpayer.

Anyway, enough of this, I'm of to put my coupon on and have a pint.

  2. The pubs are not great but I've been to a lot worse places than Bo'ness. Its football team is honking right enough but that is compensated for by having a Lidl.

Sorry, but if you're willing to throw the football team over for the opportunity to buy a 2 quid bottle of wine and something that looks like a curly wurley, but isn't, then it's time to call the bulldozers into the town......

  3. Reality bites.

Can't say I'm a fan of the Rangers as an institution, however, I have every sympathy with any supporter who turns up week in, week out, to hand over their hard earned cash and asks very little in return except a club to support.

So, it's good to see groups of Rangers supporters finally putting up some sort of fight over the way they are being treated, but really, why has it taken so long?

  4. How about you switch the spell check thingy off?

Sent from a laptop using my fingers.

Your fingers or Vicky's fingers? Hard to keep up with multiple accounts.

Haven't been on BRALT for ages, but the last time I was, you had just been caught out masquerading as some bird, and giving yourself and your mates loads of greenies.

What's the current situation? Were you stitched up, or are you totally shameless?

  5. If we stop supporting the team then cut backs will be made, people will lose jobs and we will struggle to ever get back to where we belong, no wonder our enemies congratulate and encourage this strategy it would indeed be the end of the club.

I will renew and continue to hope the club survives.

Can't really see the strategy of this.

Sorting out the shennanigans of the rogues and chancers running Rangers involves throwing money at them via season tickets?

Well, that'll show them, eh? I imagine they're shitting themselves.

  6. Sevco article from 'City Slicker' in Private Eye. Crooks charter.

That Whyte and Earley have apparently been raping pension funds comes as no surprise.

What's really disgraceful is that articles like this are appearing a London based magazine. How inept are the MSM? Surely it's about time our fat doughnut eating, idle b*****d "investigative" journo's got off their arses and actually did their jobs.

I don't believe there is any sort of conspiracy of silence. I just think the MSM are lazy b*****ds.

  7. You would think Glenn would have at least tried to get his facts right, as usual more shoddy journalism.

Which "facts" has he got wrong exactly?

He's claiming that if the truth wasn't told when Rangers were granted a license, then that license could be revoked. Seems a reasonable assumption.

He's also questioned where the money from the share issue is. Again, not unreasonable following all the recent shenanigans at Ibrox.

If anything, the article is articulating frustration at the lack of clarity coming out of Ibrox. In fact it mirrors many of the questions being asked on forums like this, without much of the seething and whataboutery.

Looks like a perfectly reasonable article, asking the questions that have been asked time and time again, without any clarification being provided.

  8. You can discount the past of anyone who comes into Rangers. As Charles Green proved, all they have to do is make a few pronouncements on the "anti Rangers conspiracy" front, chuck in a couple of "No Surrender's" and before long, they're the new messiah.

    As Charles Green proved aye?

What a load of rubbish. All Green did was say a few words to win over the fans. Aye you've got your finger on the pulse...

P&B is the worst for misinformation being repeated as fact. It seems to be what some of you sad c***s live on.

I can't even comprehend what you are on about here.

I state that Charles Green only had to say a few things to win over the Rangers fans, and you say that's rubbish because all he did was say a few words to win over the Rangers fans???.........

Just a wild guess here, but you're not a member of Mensa are you?

  9. The minute there's the whiff of a trophy, you'll be bellowing the "Follow Follow"s & worse with the rest. Rangers fans to a man don't have a moral cell in their whole bodies when it comes to their club, just so long as they're winning.

You can discount the past of anyone who comes into Rangers. As Charles Green proved, all they have to do is make a few pronouncements on the "anti Rangers conspiracy" front, chuck in a couple of "No Surrender's" and before long, they're the new messiah.

  10. Indeed too many unanswered questions that still need answering, not expecting this any time soon, still waiting on any of the court cases involving Shyte to start, this latest bit of paper to be released onto the Bralt looks like it has no bearing on it.

Did you get along to the Match on Saturday? excellent result, but you are still up against it.

If it was absolutely clear cut that Whyte has no claim on the assets via his involvement in Sevco 5088, or indeed, Whyte had no involvement with Sevco 5088 whatsoever, then I think that this would have been brushed aside long ago. That it is still ongoing seems to give mileage to Whyte's claims.

I would assume that talks between both sides are probably taking place at the moment, with a view to "paying off" Whyte to drop his claim on the assets. I doubt the full truth of this farce will ever come out, especially with reference to the murky role played by D & P.

The most shameful thing about the whole episode has been the silence and lack of action of any kind by the SFA. Can't say I'm particularly shocked by the lack of any leadership from that bunch of tossers, but surely Scottish football deserves better.

  11. Question for all ! how the feck did Whyte manage to lodge papers in companies house as a sevco 5088 director ? is Chuckies or Ahmed's signature on the documents ?.

I would have thought that when Whyte and Green jumped into bed together, that Whyte would have had the papers signed as "insurance".

Clearly he would have been unable to lodge them at the time, as this would have advertised his involvement in Sevco 5088.

What their agreement was, and if the assets ever passed through Sevco 5088 is obviously still clouded in mystery. As Whyte is a sneaky little shit, and Green is starting to look like a chip off the old block, coupled with the fact that D&P refuse to clarify exactly what went on; then I can't see any clarification on the whole debacle unless it ends up in open court.

And it's almost inevitable that this will end up in court at some point, as there are millions of pounds at stake. And that would be no bad thing, not least because many Rangers supporters dug deep to buy into the club and are owed some kind of honesty as to what the f**k has gone on.

Whatever anyone thinks of Rangers fans, I don't think anyone believes they deserve to be treated as they have been by Murray, Whyte or Green.

To me, Murray is the most interesting character in this whole soap opera. The world of Scottish business is not the largest circle to mix in and it seems beyond the bounds of credibility that a businessman of long standing like Murray had no idea as to the character and operating methods of Whyte. It is another poor reflection on the MSM that Murray has been given such an easy ride over the sale of the club to a conman.

  12. Full statement from Rangers

The Board has announced today it is to commission an independent examination to be carried out by As We Rise Again and Mason Boyne into recent allegations in the media concerning the Chief Executive, Charles Green, the Commercial Director, Imran Ahmad, and their management of the Club.

"The decision to commission the examination was taken unanimously by Charles Green on his own.

"The independent report will be whitewashed as slowly as possible to buy us time, as we seek to exit the club with as much loot as possible, whilst we buy off the non-executive directors of the company.

"The Chief Executive will fully direct the examination. The Board wishes to make clear that is not prejudging any of the issues involved and that the object of this exercise is to pull the wool over the eyes of shareholders, supporters, staff and even some of the Board members.

"Instructions recently given to lawyers in England and Scotland with a view to taking legal action to challenge these recent allegations should help us throw up a smokescreen to cover our exit.

"Also at today’s meeting, the Chief Executive of the Club apologised unreservedly to Board members and the wider Rangers support for any offence caused by remarks he made in an interview last week regarding his "paki friend".

"Mr. Green told the Board that in trying to make a point in the interview that, as Chief Executive, he would not countenance any form of prejudice towards employees or players at the club, and stated that the bird in the main office with the big tits, and the work experience spastic in the wheelchair would back him up on this or they could expect their cards.

"The Board accepted the explanation that there had been no intention to cause offence and accepted the Chief Executive’s apology, just as he had ordered them to. The Board is satisfied that the Chief Executive did not act in a racist manner because....well.....he said so, didn't he?

"Mr. Green will deal with the pending S.F.A. charge by carrying on avoiding giving any sort of straight answer. The Board wishes to re-iterate Rangers is a Club which is opposed to all forms of prejudice, except when it's actually us that's do it.

By the way, cheers for the money, but wave it goodbye because it's winging it's way to a tax haven at this very moment”

  13. Maybe they can seize that mansion the police broke into yesterday, got to be worth a few mill surely, then again he is probably renting and claiming housing benefit for it.

Apparently it was bought from David Murray for a pound, financed interest free from an HBOS loan from Gavin Masterton. It was then sold onto Craig Whyte using Charles Green as a frontman, with the money being funnelled through Harry Redknapp's dog's bank account in Monaco.

The SFA have said that it's all above board.
