  1. Probably.

Fucked, of course, is a relative term in this context of financial whizz-kiddery with their offshores, double-entry, cross-receivable income streams from the money tree that ordinary Joe rarely has access to.

I'm sure Whyte will be able to struggle on. More's the pity.

As you say, I'm sure he's planned for his assets to be out of reach if the debt collector calls.

A dyed in the wool, sneaky wee shite. Which is why he probably got to be pals with Green............

  2. I tried to explain what's going on in Scottish football to some of the non Scottish sub contractors on site this week. About Murray, Green and Whyte, about how clubs are fighting like cats in a sack over reconstruction, about the 11-1 voting system, about the diddy revolt in the summer, about the DAB boycott, about fairer distribution of money, about the agendas of Doncaster, Regan and Longmuir, about the questions around Masterton/HBOS, about what's happening at Tynecastle, about the failure of the MSM to ask questions..................it just went on and on.

In the end, even I couldn't keep up with what I was saying. f**k knows what they were thinking as they watched me get more and more animated and pissed off. There just doesn't seem to be any end game in sight.

  3. It is my opinion that the administrators were free to sell the assets to whatever bidder they felt represented the best deal to the creditors, whyte had no control over this. If he sold them to sevco 5088 and Whyte and Green did indeed have an agreement then he may have a claim should Green have subsequently transferred those assets without concent from all the shareholders of 5088, but if the administrators sold the assets directly to Sevco Scotland then it looks like Whyte does not have a case with Rangers but may be able to sue Green.

And you're certainly entitled to your opinion, but I think you don't want to see the point I'm making.

If Green sold assets, via a flotation, that he didn't entirely own then surely those assets would have to be returned to their "rightful" owner. that in turn, would certainly affect the club.

Of course, everything is speculation, but if there had been honesty from any side in this dispute then there should have been clarity by now.

Why is it so hard to get the truth of it all?

  4. When the CVA failed, any rights that Whyte had were gone, the descision to sell the assets and to who was 100% the descision of the administrators.

And the administrators appointed by Whyte then sold the assets to Whyte's preferred choice. And the real question is not which company the assets were sold to anyway, but what agreement Whyte and Green had and if it was documented. I think that Whyte could have been dismissed out of hand had money not changed hands; but it did, and not in any conventional way either.

  5. I wonder how much legal weight the paragraph in D&P's document has. The one that states that in the event of the CVA proposal failing, that Sevco 5088 are compelled to complete the assett purchase.

Does it leave open the possibility of another company (Sevco Scotland) making the purchase? This is what Green suggests actually happened. Which does contradict the statements released to the press at that time.

Could the whole shooting match, and Whyte's potential claim, hinge on what actually happened here? Surely it wouldn't take too much digging to establish the facts here.

To me, it looks like there is actually, beneath all the bullshit, a truth in Green's claim in that Sevco Scotland did actually gain the assets without them ever being in the hands of Sevco 5088. I think, that even for him, that that is too big a lie to pull off for it to be otherwise.

So it might well be a case of Green v Whyte without much of the fallout affecting Rangers. But I'm sure that if Whyte's lawyers have the stomach for it, and the cash, there could be the mother of all shitstorms being kicked up here.

I would say that it could come down to more than just Green v Whyte. If Whyte can prove he had a claim on the assets via a deal with Green, then Green sold on assets he didn't wholly own via the share issue, then surely it has implications for the shareholders.

But, as you have said, it shouldn't take to much digging to find out the truth of the whole thing. The only reason I can think of for the lack of clarity so far, is that everyone involved has something to hide.

  6. It's one thing after the other. I haven't seen the STV thing but I seen that people were saying Charles was uncomfortable with the questions which is a bit strange as he's usually good with the talking patter. The Whyte thing is a lot of complete bollocks to be fair I'd never listen to a word the rat b*****d says.

Brilliant. You don't check on what Green says, and you won't listen to what Whyte says.

Mind you, there's clearly no reason for you to actually follow what's going on at your club, as Charles Green is "usually good with the talking patter".

    Un - fucking - believable.

  7. Green's a dick. Thankfully he'll be a distant memory before too long.

But how much collateral damage will he leave behind?

The fact that he ignored every legal precedent with regard to transferring players to a new club, the fact that he made a total arse of the alleged "boycott", the fact that he lied about his involvement with Whitey and is actually boasting about ripping him off, the fact that he thinks it's acceptable for the CEO of a large company in the spotlight to refer to people as "pakis" or "darkies", well TBH, it's all sort of pointing towards the fact that he's not very bright.

And if he's not very bright, the real question that could turn Rangers over is "How well has he legally covered his arse in his dealings with Whyte?"

Is he stupid enough to have left a door open for Whyte to have a legal claim on Newco's assets? On the face of it, it appears possible.

  8. Had a look over at Rangers Media to see the reaction to Green's latest outburst.

As expected, anyone over on those forums is still being attacked if they dare to question old Charlie boy.

I did have a giggle at this post however:

    THE_Ibrox_Preacher

Charles Green - "Hello all thank you for all attending the press conference, I apologise for being late I had to feed my dogs Anne & Frank,......Everybody comfortable and ready to begin?....What about the spastics and cripples at the front?.....Good!,.....Wow a black reporter....What paper you work for son?,.....Daily Mail? Really? I thought they had more sense than that,......we'll have Ching-chongs in here next, ha!........Right first question from the blonde in the middle with the big tits,.....sorry luv I didn't hear the question but I'll give you my number after the conference...........ok next question from the guy in the floral shirt,.........are you gay?.....well you're mother must be very disappointed,......that'll be your first and your last question this is a family club, we'll have no kiddie-fiddlers here pal!"

I would assume there are a few displeased institutional shareholders on the phone to Ibrox this morning telling Green to shut up and stay away from the media. God knows what the non-execs at Rangers actually do; they really need to get a grip on Green.

  9. We all know Chuck's a shyster (although he has the merit of admitting he's only in it for the money). We all knew Whyte was a shyster. We all see the pattern. It is obvious to anyone and the constant repitition of this is only done by diddies who think they have superior inteligence and insight to we Bears. You don't. We know we're being taken for a ride but hate admitting it. OK?

There are 2 problems. 1. Scottish football is a shite investment. No sane person would put money in to Rangers for the long term and hope to get a return. 2. Rangers fans are among the most crabbit fans on earth (apart from me). There is just no hope of a Rangers' fans cooperative ever taking off.

Ergo, we are stuck with whichever shyster is currently in control of our assests and can't do a thing about it.

Also, Chuckles trumpeting the phrase, "My Paki Friend" made me ashamed to support Rangers today.

Liquidate your assets and GTF, please Charles.

Post of the year IMO, and probably a truer reflection of how most Rangers fans feel than some of the sycophantic shit being posted on the more extreme websites.

However, I would disagree with the statement that you "all know" you are being taken for a ride. As We Fail Again is a prime example of blind stupidity, gloating on various threads about other clubs which are in trouble, whilst not looking out the window and noticing Charles Green is driving the train off a cliff.

  10. See my posts below, particularly the bits in red. The CVA proposal is very specific on what parties were involved in discussions. Maybe there is something that supersedes this or another reasonable explanation, but there is certainly a question hanging over the whole thing that needs answered.

As regards the "Sevco" stuff, the decision of Lord Nimmo Smith et al about payments to players says:

'On 14 June 2012 a newly incorporated company, Sevco Scotland Limited, purchased substantially all the business and assets of Oldco, including Rangers FC, by entering into an asset sale and purchase agreement with the joint administrators. The name of Sevco Scotland Limited was subsequent ly changed to The Rangers Football Club Limited. We shall refer to this company as Newco'.

All this could be cleared up if the right questions were asked to the right person and they gave a straight answer.

Yet we're months down the line, and there's still no clarity about what has gone on. Something is clearly not right.

  11. Have i got this right?....The diddies are now claiming craig whyte is to be trusted and taken at face value? Bwahahahahaha. They really are desperate

Can't recall any of us diddies claiming Craig Whyte is to be trusted.

I think most of us are pointing out that putting any trust in Charles Green is dubious. He's clearly been "economical" with the truth, has previous at Sheffield United, has a string of closed companies behind him and has taken money from Craig Whyte. I simply cannot understand why he is getting such an easy time of it from Rangers supporters, especially after what he did to another club.

He's already claimed he's only in it for the money which in my mind is not too different to Craig Whyte's attitude to your club.

After everything that's happened to Rangers in the last couple of years it seems incredible that a single supporter could fall for another Messiah routine.

There's something rotten at the core of Ibrox and the supporters should be demanding answers. And not from Craig Whyte, but from the Messiah himself, Charles Green.

  12. Not concerned about Whyte in the slightest, if these pre-cva tapes were in anyway useful to him then he would not have sold them to the Sun, the man is a bafoon wo will f**k off for another six months before resurfacing.

Concerned about Green but then this feeling is not something new, 70% of Rangers fans do not trust him and probably never will.

I think you should be concerned about Whyte. Whatever is going on, it looks like Whyte and Green were in this together.

Whyte is an asset stripping, untrustworthy con man, but then again, that's what Sheffield United supporters thought about Green.

It's now gone from Green saying he wasn't in bed with Whyte, to now saying he was in bed with him but it was a one night stand and he didn't really love him and the money was only resting in his account. It's a train smash whichever way you look at it.

If Whyte really was part of Sevco 5088 and Green did con him by transferring the company assets to another company, then it's a legal minefield causing more uncertainty at Ibrox. Every statement by Green seems to be raising more questions than it's answering.

What makes me think there may be some substance to Whyte's claims is the way Green has come out fighting and raging instead of just laughing the whole thing off.

The whole thing stinks, and I'm surprised that Rangers supporters aren't banging on the doors of Ibrox demanding answers, especially with everything they have had to put up with in the last couple of years.

  13. Jimmy Nichol talking on Sportsound seems to think that a deal has been struck to save the Pars

From the BBC a couple of minutes ago:

    Dunfermline Steering Group

"It is obvious to all parties that we need to act quickly to ensure the club's survival. To this end, the Steering Group would like to confirm that a number of Dunfermline fans have expressed an interest in making substantial investments in the club.

"We can also confirm that the future ownership of the football club will be as per the proposal agreed with the club on Wednesday 13th March, which is a supporter led model and there will be no shares held by the Masterton family in the club.

"The current board are sufficiently comfortable with the proposals put forward by the Steering Group to allow due diligence to commence on Monday 18th March. Dependant on the outcome of this due diligence, the investment strategy will be concluded as quickly as possible.

"This could be the last realistic chance to save our club. Whilst we have that opportunity, we would ask ALL Dunfermline Athletic fans who can attend to come along to the next two home matches on 23rd and 27th March. Further opportunities to provide financial assistance to the football club will be detailed in the coming days."

    Positive stuff.

  14. Here is the list from the BBC.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk...w-west-18148818

Are you saying that the BBC got it wrong?

    The BBC getting it wrong?

    Couldn't happen, could it?

Because they clearly got it so right over the Jimmy Saville saga didn't they?

    EDIT.

    For the record,

If you type bbc gets it wrong into google, it returns 179 000 000 entries.
