  1. No games till October under a new manager who plays sterile football. No wonder the are fizzin.
  2. He did bill this as the 'independent investigation' Rangers and Hearts wanted so I fully expect him to stand down and admit he made an absolute noel hunt of it backing the wrong horse and the SPFL has been cleared of wrongdoing. Not going to happen. He will just blab on about unfairness and the SPFL should have sorted it out.
  3. Unfortunately for them they are learning the hard way that whipping each up in a frenzy in an echo chamber convincing each other of corruption is not a point of law. 3 QC's looking at the evidence and coming to a unanimous decision is.
  4. Should it not be the law profession they boycott as it is there decision?
  5. Wait so Partick Thistle who never won a single game in 2020 should be saved while Dundee United 14 points clear at top should have been penalised. I think you have a warped sense of fairness based on the fact your team was at bottom of the league. Brass neck to save your skins at the expense of a team who accumulated 33 points more than you.
  6. The podcast today was excellent . For once English was challenged on the nonsense line he has been spouting for 4 months and he was flapping.
  7. Read this carefully "I conclude that the nature and relative complexity of these issues makes it inappropriate that I deal with the question of dismissing the petition at this early stage." He has not offered an opinion either way.
  8. He never said you did or didnt have case. He never made a judgement on it. He ruled on where it should be decided. . He dismissed the Utd/ Raith/ Cove motion for this very reason.
  9. He said he would hear it only if the arbitration fails due to any errors in the process but is absolutely clear the judgement rests with arbitration not him. He never said you 'had a case'
  10. No he said "I conclude that the nature and relative complexity of these issues makes it inappropriate that I deal with the question of dismissing the petition at this early stage." and "I do not accept the submission for Hearts and Partick Thistle that there is nothing in the SPFL’s articles of association which refers this matter to arbitration. In terms of articles 2 and 196 of the SPFL’s articles, Hearts and Partick Thistle are contractually obliged to comply with the SPFL’s rules. By virtue of rule B4 of the SPFL’s rules, Hearts and Partick Thistle have to comply with the SFA’s articles of association. In my view, it is clear that all of the member clubs and the SPFL have agreed that the articles of the SFA, the articles of the SPFL and the rules of the SPFL are binding upon them." Basically he said he didn't have time to make a judgment in any case it is not for him to decide.
  11. So if one of these teams between Thistle, Falkirk and Airdrie wins this mini play off tournament what happens given Raith Rovers have already secured the 10th spot in The Championship?
  12. Just had a look at JK loved this comment I've nothing to evidence this but I am fairly certain we can take the appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne. Well here is the evidence Chairman of the Scottish Arbitration Centre Brandon Malone has categorically stated it cannot be taken to COA in Lausanne Facts can be annoying
  13. He is creating the narrative that it will be Scottish football and not Hearts he is running away from when he doesn't fancy playing in The Championship
  14. Also displaying the Budge mentality of wanting to cut away half the clubs. That strategy worked well when she went begging to these same clubs to support her save Hearts arses campaign.
  15. I wonder why he chose the last 10 years as his time period of Scottish football going downhill.
  16. Its the good strong beer that does it. Their normal process for ending the season is batshit crazy never mind having to deal with a pandemic.
  17. For those creaming about the Belgian decision Why did the BAS overturn the decision? "That reason is very important. The BAS says that decision was" manifestly unreasonable ". The BAS says that the Pro League does not provide reasonable justification for the decision to treat 1A and 1B differently." "The Pro League ended the league in 1A and let Waasland-Beveren be relegated, while the league was not stopped in 1B and the promotion final could still be played. Why should OHL and Beerschot compete for the promotion and why should Waasland-Beveren not compete against the degradation? " https://sporza.be/nl/2020/07/08/advo...1594235482917/ So the reason is was overturned was it was unfair to stop one league and carry on with another. This has not happened in Scotland
  18. But you dont know the assertion you made is true. You are hoping it will be true and also need to believe the independent investigation carried out by Deloitte is part of an SPFL cover up.
  19. Lets not forget Budge's words before they ended up in the mess they are "I think 42 senior clubs is too many for Scotland. You're looking at about half that number."
  20. You have no idea if he is a poor appointment. You are just guessing. Team do you support Dan?
  21. So not only are you an expert on League 1 in England you own a crystal ball or more likely just another charlatan.
  22. As many Tranmere fans pointed out he got them 2 successive promotions but was not given the budget to compete in League 1 with more or less the same players he had in The National League. They were also relegated due to covid with 10 games to go and a game in hand 3 points behind 4th bottom. Not certain for relegation. Tranmere fans absolutely love him and clearly dont blame him for their position in League 1.
