  1. In terms of Sports popularity it probably goes Lakers Dodgers USC UCLA Rams Kings Clippers Raiders Angels Galaxy LAFC Big NFL Teams Sparks High School Football Teams The Now Defunct XFL team Chargers.
  2. St Mirren can offer money but they'll be limited by the very real possibility of relegation in that they won't be able to offer anything other than deals until the end of the season. Partly because no decent experienced Championship player will want to go down to League One and get a wage cut as a result of relegation, partly because St Mirren would be going full Livingston and lose a lot of money. Which is probably the main reason Rankin chose us instead of St Mirren as most senior players at this level probably value a somewhat stable income more than a quick buck. They'll be better equipped for the loan market, although Loy (playing devils advocate) hasn't really played well for a struggling side, looking at his soccerbase he has only been on the winning side of one Premiership game this season and played on good Falkirk sides at this level, he might not be a surefire saviour as some may think. They also have to take a few punts on out of contract players or foreign players which can go either in the Michael Chopra at Alloa the season they just stayed up or Garry O'Connor and Nacho Novo at Morton badly.
  3. The seats are purple though... Not particularly surprising given they have 2 former Stoke directors plus Tony Pulis's son as the B Team Coach. The stadium formerly known as the Britannia is rather noisey and one of the better new builds in the UK if they ever get round to filling the corners in... Whist it may not be as cold or windy on a midweek as Stoke. The Florida thunderstorms aren't to be messed around with.
  4. They'll be getting mediocre MLS attendance with that team, not to mention they'll probably be the 12th overall most popular sports team in LA, also managing to piss off the San Diego fanbase even more than they already have by having a ripoff logo of the San Diego Padres main rival, the LA Dodgers and they won't even be owning a stadium by the end of this. The entire thing seems bewildering to me.
  5. Los Angeles FC (MLS Expansion team for 2018) have broken ground on the Banc of California stadium on the site of the Los Angeles Sports arena in exposition park, apparently the Fans have been consulted for an ultras end which is apparently about as steep as is allowed to go and are considering Safe Standing. Also George Lucas is building a billion dollar museum/Art Gallery nearby in Exposition Park. Also Orlando City's new stadium is nearing completion with a full standing terrace on the right.
  6. He has played under 5 managers and he's managed to stay relevant through all of them and has managed to get more prolific as he's gotten older as well. In the first season back in the Championship, he seemed a bit of a flat track bully only scoring against lesser teams but he then started scored some huge goals against Falkirk, Rangers, St Johnstone in that 4th place season. The man also fell through a coffee table to help us reach Hampden so nothing but respect for the man.
  7. Millar kept on getting signed and re-signed on this notion that despite the major concerns about his attitude and fitness that he would all of a sudden turn back into one of the best players in the division despite that probably not being the case since he left Falkirk the first time around. I don't know whether that's his or his agent's delusion or that of the Manager/Football Development Manager/ Chairman that kept on bringing him back despite the mounting evidence that he wasn't even half of the player of his second spell at Falkirk. I don't mind people that aren't going to run all over the place if they have some quality or a Ross Forbes level set piece. Millar didn't suggest he did outside of a handful of games. He was the most forward thinking central midfielder the last two years but that is more an indictment on the rest of the team and the fact we tried to build a team around a washed up talent. Livingston has a good choice of fast food chains so he'll be happy there at least.
  8. If anything we'll now be able to blind the opposition with sheer volume of fake tan between Del and Rankin.
  9. WTM definitely just plays the Sims to repeatedly murder his sims. Terrifying character.
  10. The Mannequin challenge wasn't a thing and now our defence are the only ones keeping it alive at set pieces.
  11. Donald Trump was a hilarious sideshow in the US election and millions of celebrities were still alive last time we won.
  12. Since we last won a game (17th September) the following teams in Scotland have won a league game Scottish Premiership Celtic Rangers Hearts Aberdeen St Johnstone Patick Thistle Dundee Motherwell Ross County Inverness Caledonian Thistle Hamilton Academical Kilmarnock Scottish Championship Ayr United Dumbarton Dundee Utd Dunfermline Athletic Falkirk Hibernian Morton Raith Rovers St Mirren Scottish League One Airdrieonians Albion Rovers Alloa Athletic Brechin City East Fife Livingston Queen's Park Peterhead Stenhousemuir Stranraer Scottish League Two Forfar Athletic Edinburgh City Berwick rangers Stirling Albion Cowdenbeath Annan Athletic Arbroath Clyde Elgin City Montrose
  13. I can see the attraction for everyone else, Rusty's uncontrollable shitposting is similar to the great Drycehorse (sp) on the Scotland Threads touting Australians and Mubtumbo for the national team for causing high levels of seethe. Rusty is nowhere near as hilarious and is more spam than trolling though I refuse to believe anyone can be so thick that they can't physically multiquote. The danger is if he spreads and ruins everything else but ruining massive single club threads wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Perhaps Rusty is actually symbolising the pointlessness of club threads being largely empty vassals of nothingness by posting a whole lot of absolutely irrelevant drivel. It's Rusty's world and we are all just living in it.
  14. Hopefully Big Ron Atkinson can resurrect his career when he replaces Gordon Strachan.
  15. The forum was considerably a better place without both recently returned mentalists. People actually talked about football rather than both characters attention seeking endlessly, if you have been banned twice from an internet forum that is pretty lax then you need to really need to have a hard think about how better you could spend their time rather than endlessly try to win approval on a forum where you have been totally discredited. People on the internet don't suddenly become reformed after a ban, sure 8mile will pretend to be everyone's mate for now but he can't help himself and will still be a dense moron with a chip on his shoulder. Grimbo could easily hide in the Lowland League but he won't because he has to have people notice him
  16. Atlético have announced the name of their new stadium as the Wanda Metropolitano, with the Wanda being a Chinese Conglomerate and the Metropolitano being the name of their ground before the Vicente Calderon. Playing there from 2017. Most recent photo
  17. We've dispatched a fair few minnows recently but it's probably for the best that we haven't faced any over the last two seasons. 29/11/14 Queen of the South 4-1 Brora Rangers (HL) - Scottish Cup 27/07/13 - Queen of the South 4-0 Spartans (LL) - Challenge Cup 3/11/12 - Edinburgh City (EOS) 0 -2 Queen of the South - Scottish Cup 12/1/08 - Queen of the South 4-0 Linlithgow Rose (Junior) - Scottish Cup 11/1/96 - Whitehill Welfare (EOS) 2 -3 Queen of the South - Scottish Cup
  18. A guard of dishonour where instead of applause the opposition players get to point and laugh.
  19. I think he has improved and I want him to do well to shut up his critics as he works his socks off and i'd imagine his physique and attitude is why he has hung around and played as much as he has though. I feel his career path is going to be similar to Scott Robertson and he'll end up as a centre half at some point. His physical attributes show up against lower division sides but he isn't quick enough or technically capable to kick on as a midfielder IMO.
  20. Albertz on Qos Mad is dedicated to German ex Rangers player Jorg Albertz. Mark Robertson supports Rangers. Mark Robertson's fake tan made him look orange. When something is rusty it often turns orange. Therefore Rusty is Mark Robertson confirmed.
  21. Personally I think Rusty_1111 is actually a plant sent in by the board to redirect all of our seethe front their bungling incompetence. A master stroke in manipulation from Hewitson IMO.
  22. The rise and fall of Grim O'Grady will be a P&B folk tale. Staggering how he went from having a great deal of sympathy for his plight to being the most reviled poster on here. Good Riddance. Günther is a creepy homophobe but he usually gets roasted mercilessly when he brags or says something Günthery. He's now a testosterone deprived version of Philpy. The real Magee finishing off the imposter Magee was a perfect end to a seemingly never ending saga.
  23. Bah Gawd, the Magee face turn is by far the most unexpected thing to come out of 2016.
