This seems like a non-issue based on what you're saying. I get the impression that nothing he could ever say or do would make you change your mind about him.

Has the guy actually said that the only thing that matters is social media or something? Surely having decent socials is a necessity these days and the people currently criticising would be triumphantly proclaiming him a dinosaur if he said it was unimportant. It will be remembered by everyone as a nightmare ending for Beith if they fail to clinch it from this position. In 2018 we had a hand on the trophy and blew it on the home straight ourselves by failing to take three points from Pollok and Cumnock. That's just the pressure that comes with being the frontrunner and favourite and I'd love to swap places with Beith at this point. I don't really blame the normal Beith fans for being coy though. There's nothing to gain by shooting your mouth off no matter how confident you actually feel.

They've been falling over themselves to insist it's not Beith's to lose all season. Fair enough I suppose but it's hard to believe that they're not privately thinking it's as good as won. I went to edit something and accidentally deleted it. (it wasn't anything controversial or remotely interesting for anyone caring).

That's class crowd. About 5k over two games between these sides is terrific.

Kind of felt sorry for the stewards last night as they had obviously been instructed to take a heavy touch approach. Personally I wouldn't have bothered my arse if I was them, more hassle than it's worth. Are Darvel actually allowed to cordon off the wee street alongside the touchline opposite the stand? That seemed a bit pointless anyway as all the fans were still certain to converge on the main street and it just felt like a measure designed to make Talbot fans walk and extra half mile back to their transport. Glad to see the back of a thoroughly petty experience and I look forward to never putting another penny in Darvel's coffers in the future.
