Do you live near Macc?
Glasgow mate, was just down in Manchester and Liverpool for a few days. Originally planned for City but the tickets were proving to be a pain to get so was going to go to macclesfield as backup.
Would still go in the future.

the Stanley ultras are class! English lower leagues are pretty good in many ways but there are some severely bland supports, but not these lads. Probably the only decent home support I've encountered in England.

should have gone to Macclesfield!
bumped into some feyenoord fans last year when I went to see Barnsley-forest,theyd been at manu the night before, sound guys and knew their football
are city CL tickets easy to get?
you needed a buying history for last night but a lot of empty seats. If you've bought one ticket from them in the past you're fine.
maybe it's better at the ko stage. Who knows. Would have been tremendous in the away end with the proper fans. Other thing about the Dutch fans is that they were mainly built like brick shit houses compared to the tubby stone island sorts in the UK.

The etihad is a fairly abysmal experience tbh. A shower of spoilt sweetie rustlers. The feynoord fans were pretty good. Was Sat in a pub when their corteo passed and it would have been a good laugh hanging around with their fans.
Had thought about making that an annual trip because it's so easy to get CL tickets but maybe not.

Nice wee ground Macc have and a couple pins nearby. Seen them play Shrewsbury about 7 years ago.
I'll do it at some point as it ticks all my boxes for a venue, but the emptyad it is.

Got Late ticket for the Citeh match tonight so the Macclesfield ticket's going to waste.
Was actually quite looking forward to Mac but it was not meant to be.

what are the chances of a neutral getting tickets for the Hearts v Hibs game in December?

Blackpool v Pompey yesterday. A dreadful 1st half that would have put tits on you but 5 goals after the break made it a decent spectacle.
Bit of a shame for the Blackpool fans as the place is far, far too big for their current needs and feels like a monument to a fleeting period of better times that won't be returning any time soon.
The atmosphere was saved by the away fans though. That's the 2nd time I've seen Pompey away from home and their travelling support has terrific numbers even if their songbook is the same generic pish that every English side sees to use and the guys with the cow bells and bugles could do with standing on upturned plugs.

You have to hand it to Blackpool for the effort they put into their ticket design...

In light of the shambles that was the Quadrangular Tournament, ie crazy fixture scheduling, wholesale cancellation of West fixtures, very poor attendances out with the last Scotland game and not even basics such as a programme or teamsheet/line-ups, has this changed anyone's opinion in the West who were sceptical about change/pyramid?
Still no Junior Cup sponsor either. We are being badly let down.
Doubtful but we live in hope.

Good grief. I take it you've never been to Stoke then.
I've been condescended to many times, but never about my lack of Stoke awareness.
Humbling.

I didn't anticipate a pro shrewbury outcome here.

What will be the better game/ venue from these 2 mouthwatering FA Cup matches?
Port Vale v Oxford
or
Shrewsbury v Aldershot.

Crewe v Carlisle today. Sort of wishing I hadn't arranged to go on the day of the Glasgow Derby but a pub showing the game has been found so the only concern is getting that urge to stay in the boozer rather than go to the game.

Man City aren't wanting to sell us tickets for the Feyenoord game as we don't have a purchase history leaving the local options that evening as Oldham, Bury or Macclesfield Town.
What is the best option from that impossibly glamorous selection?
I'm thinking maybe Macclesfield as it has terracing but is there anything positive to be said about the other 2?

How can it be anything but Holm Park?

Sorry I've completely missed any mention of this until yesterday but is it going to be an artificial surface and floodies then?

No point doing anything until the Scottish water work is done!true, but it's going to be a bit of a hazard until it gets sorted.

up at holm park now, good to see work getting done. The entrance area could do with a bit of attention.

I see Copa90 covered this game last night, with Ethan running out comfortable victors.
ended up patching it. It just didn't sound that appealing compared to the pub.
went to Fulham v Sheffield Wednesday which was a bit meh as a game. Away win was about right. The Wednesday fans seem like a genuinely abhorrent bunch. Vile racist scum and easily the worst English club support I've encountered on my travels.
best bit of the day was seeing Frank Bruno outside the ground before the game.

Thinking of going to AC London v Egham Town in the FA Cup tomorrow night as we'll be down for the Fulham game on the Saturday anyway.
Turns out AC London were set up by a teenager after the London riots, which is a nice story but the real question is - is attending a match like this a criminal waste of a free evening in London? I'm thinking "probably".

would have been a decent game the other night by the look of the score. regretting not going, especially when they asked for £4 for a pie at City.
