  1. As a current baldist (mainly genetics rather than choice) I’d like to say we are all very trustworthy. Also if you would like any further info just PM me your long card number, expiry date and the last 3 digits on your signature line. Many thanks.
  2. I stumbled upon this pic on Facebook a few days ago and felt so strongly about it, it’s now my avatar / profile pic on here. I feel happy that we can finally draw a line under the argument and single out all the O’sFTW.
  3. My post was a bit tongue in cheek to maintain the policy of Tennent’s being great and everything else being shite. However I do take a bit of issue with people in Scotland being so keen to pan our ‘national lager’. I agree with what you’ve said about it being a session lager but I don’t feel that it’s popular purely down to lack of choice. A lot of the easily available mass volume brewed lagers are no better than Tennent’s. Carling, Fosters, Carlsberg, Kronenbourg, SAN Miguel, Becks, Amstel, Heineken, Stella, Budweiser (yank), Miller; all of these are no better than Tennent’s yet folk will buy them purely because they’re foreign. I’ll concede that Peroni is nice (personal opinion) but not streets ahead of T. Some of the less commonly available German and Czech beers are superior but I do think T gets an unnecessary hard time from folk.
  4. Choking for an cold T today but I’ve got to oversee my sons birthday festivities later on. Today is not a good day, I might try and make up for it by nipping for a few solo pints tomorrow.
  5. I’ve seen this heresy. I’m pretending that it doesn’t exist.
  6. In a polite yet condescending way just tell them that at this stage in proceedings it’s not logistically feasible. Throw enough wanky words at them with a smile on your face and they’ll shuffle off. If that doesn’t work just ask them how they’ll pay for these additional items that weren’t in your original budget. Alternatively boot in the pie / stones will work too.
  7. You’ve rumbled me! It was either that or sell my body, strangely the coasters are more profitable....
  8. He hosts on Radio X now (which I listen to on occasion) and is still a conceited gobby c**t who thinks he’s far more amusing than he really is.
  9. We may well have done, all my rambling above is from memory so I could easily be wrong. I’m sure we can both agree we’d like far more ST holders than we’ll actually end up with!
  10. Perhaps brilliant is maybe me being a little ‘happy clapper’ which isn’t my general demeanour although I believe (and someone will correct me if I’m wrong) that we had circa 3k season tickets last season? And the boards stated aim was to increase this by 1k? Personally I’m happy to retain the 3k and try and grow it by a more manageable / sustainable amount which I think 3.5k is especially with around 6weeks still to go til the season starts. I’d love to break the 4K barrier but for a variety of reasons I don’t think we will. I think the adult season ticket at super early bird prices is reasonable value - worked out approx £17.30 a game if you go to all the home games. You mention the style of play - yes I think as a whole the style of play has been more palatable under McCann which I’m pleased about but unfortunately he spent big portions of the season choosing to be stubborn rather than pragmatic, which led to a number of defeats particularly to teams in the same area of the league as us. But I feel after the 0-4 defeat to St. Johnstone he switched to being a bit more clever and adaptable rather than sticking to his ‘total football’ philosophy. So I’m optimistic for next season.
  11. Some folk just won’t take a telling. It’s the natural progression.
  12. Brilliant, hopefully we can push toward 3.5k before the start of the season. Maybe encouraged by a new star striker....
  13. You’ve certainly rolled a wee grenade in amongst proceedings there.
  14. Very kind of you to say. I can’t recall having any positive comments about my hands before. I shall use this use this ego boost to mitigate the effects of my monstrous coupon.
  15. I’ll miss the first game as away on holiday but will get to the first home game. Can’t wait!
  16. I’ll have to concede that you are correct and I feel slightly foolish. It’s still sweepy though.
  17. The guy in the white t shirt is straight out of and 80’s music video, a sort of down on his luck Bryan Ferry vibe.
