They came onstage to that at T in the Park a few years ago. The intro was playing with an empty stage for a bit, then they walked on and Gruff Rhys picked up the harmonica and played the little bit before the lyrics start. What a moment!

You had a listen to Dark Days/Light Years yet? Wasn't too sure of it at first but it's a grower. Mt. is amazing.

Gran Torino Absolutely fantastic film, brilliant performance from Clint. I'm loathe to giving a film 10, so I'll give it a 9 on the basis that i thought the young Hmong girl who played the wee fella's sister was terrible.

Watched Red Road last night. The sex scene is pretty much pornographic! Certainly wasn't expecting that. Decent film, although she took it a bit far with her revenge trip. The part where she stuffs her kid's clothes and starts hugging them is genuinely heart-wrenching.

If you haven't seen it yet, have a look for El Espinazo del Diablo (The Devil's Backbone) by the same guy. A brilliant ghost story set against the Spanish Civil War. Del Toro has said that he considers Pan's Labyrinth to be a sort of spiritual sequel to it. Just watched Scarface for the first time in years, I'll give it a 9 'cos the soundtrack has aged terribly.

[Rec] - Blair Witch Project meets Resident Evil, with Spanish subtitles. Genuinely scary but a bit short at 75mins. 8/10
