  1. Haven't checked all the pages, so apologies if this is a repost but I am amazed any time I see this video.
  2. Exactly. It's like those halfwits who need to film themselves doing "good deeds" to upload to YouTube. If you need to go to great lengths to "prove" how caring and how grateful you are, then you're missing the point.
  3. First impression of that is he's no doubt spent a few quid for that shirt with very little, if any, proceeds going to charity. With me being a nosey bar-steward with nothing better to do with my Sunday, I decided to try Google to see if I could find a shirt like that. Came across a website that is selling shirts which look exactly like that. 62 Euros for the shirt with no mention of charities benefiting from sales. So, I need to stick with my first impression, he's a knob that has spent over £50 to prove how he's the poppiest poppy wearer, who 'members more than the rest of us 'member.
  4. But we'll bottle it on the pitches of Hampden Park, amirite Hibbees?
  5. At work last night, one of my colleague's banged her foot on a chair. To which she informed me, "ahh, I just hurted my feet". It's been about 12 hours since it happened and it's actually really pissing me off a lot more than it should.
  6. That was worn during a friendly so apparently it falls out of FIFA's jurisdiction in regards to political statements on shirts. Doesn't make any sense to me as to why it's acceptable in some cases but not others.
  7. I think all we need is a "we won ra wars, why ir we lettin those forenurs tell us whit to dae?" and a "I'm glad ma granda is deed, as this wid a killed him" for a clean sweep of a moron's guide to Poppy perma-rage.
  8. It's like those needy gobshites who need to film themselves doing "good deeds" that they upload to YouTube.
  9. So far this morning on my Facebook feed I've had two images, one of poppies arranged to look like a man sitting on a bench and an other of a dress made from poppies, both with captions along the lines of "Facebook has banned this picture, share it quick before they take it down". Of course the button bashers are foaming at the mouth about how anti-British Facebook is and how "they wouldn't ban a Muslim army thing".
  10. 10 goals from open play is a decent return from someone in Ferguson's position but I think I am right when I say that was a one off season goals wise. I don't recall him reaching double figures any other time.
  11. Funnily enough my Rangers supporting pal was talking about that at the weekend, how Ferguson scored, I think he said was 18 goals in the one season, which is an impressive tally but when you take into consideration Ferguson was the Rangers penalty taker, you'll probably find that at least half the goals came from the spot. Ferguson was a good player, it's daft to claim otherwise and I sometimes feel people judge his ability by their personal feelings on him but he was overrated. He was no where near world-class and it's laughable to claim he was.
  12. So far in the last 24 hours I've had two people "check in" to a hospital and this morning a picture of a girls sister in the back of an ambulance after a car crash.
  13. My apologies mate, I miss read you. My gap wedge is 48.5. What make of wedges?
  14. I was thinking about 58/60. My SW is 54. Never really got the feel for it. So I'd probably be looking at a 54/56Sw and a 58/60Lw
  15. Any recommendations on wedges? I currently only have a gap and my sand but I've never really gotten to feel for my sand wedge and thinking of getting a lob wedge as currently I only carry 13 clubs.
  16. Aye, another poster has it narrowed down to between 1961 to 1976. As I was saying to him the cars always had me questioning it but I wasn't aware when the floodlights and enclosure was added. Good shout too regarding the prefabs.
  17. I wasn't aware about the floodlights but the cars always had me thinking.
  18. I've seen this picture being referred to as a photo retouch from the 1937 Scotland vs England game, I haven't been able to verify that but it is still one of my favourite pictures from the old Hampden.
  19. Cheers mate but I was meaning the original Celtic Park as in the one we played at between 1888 to 1892.
  20. Does anyone have a picture of the original Celtic Park? Been trying for a while now to find one but had no luck.
