  1. Originally you said there were none, now it's "may be". Non-RCs can find employment in RC schools, like I said a Church of Scotland member was appointed headteacher for two RC primary schools, my apologies of you not being made "aware" of this, I'll make sure someone sends you the memo should future appointments take place. Again, I have to ask about the figures you used in a previous message, where did you get them from?
  2. Well that's progress, in the space of 40 minutes we've moved on from non-RCs being refused employment to RC schools making the odd exception. Whilst I don't disagree the number of non-RCs teaching in a RC school will be low, I am curious as to how you came about these figures.
  3. Try being the Church of Scotland member who was appointed the 'Heidie' of two Roman Catholic primary schools.....
  4. I thought he was trying to portray them as one and the same, if I have picked him up wrong then it's an error on my behalf.
  5. I would disagree with classing the Knights of Saint Columba with the Ancient Order of Hibernians as one of the same. I've always felt the Hibs in Scotland and Ireland are different from the American branches, and it's a case of if you want to get involved with the Church you'd join the Knights, if you were a bigot, the Hibernians were your choice. "The Guild is open to anyone, women or men, who accept our aim: The Church of Scotland Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland", from the Guilds official website. Whilst in my opinion there is nothing sectarian about that, if we are going down the route of groups looking for members within their respective Churches being classed as sectarian, then there is not a whole lot of difference between that and the Knights of Saint Columba. The AOH is a sectarian organisation. Those Protestants, up to no good as usual. The Hibernians have thankfully all but died out in Scotland, I think Port Glasgow is the only place with an active AOH group, even their old strongholds of Coatbridge, Hamilton and Carfin have gave them up, and I think it's going the same way across in Ireland.
  6. I can't believe Danny is pure sound when he is home, but then treats him like a c**t when he's away, they're supposed be brothers man.
  7. The Prince of Nigeria is always looking to donate millions of pounds, all he needs is your bank details.
  8. The green shows that there is a little bit of good in everyone.
  9. Got a couple of rounds at Beith and Machrinhanish Dunes coming up soon, anybody played them?
  10. Roma are due to move into their new stadium next year aren't they? Sure I read it will be a 55,000 seater. With the way things are going could that end up the biggest stadium in Italy?
  11. Juventus went with something similar, their new stadium is only around about 41,000 after leaving the Delle Alpi stadium which was about 70,000. I am sure I read somewhere that thanks to Juventus playing at a stadium they now own, they make about twice as much for selling out a smaller stadium than they did for half filling a stadium with twice the capacity. Perhaps that is Milan's thinking with their new stadium.
  12. Similar topic but from a slightly different view point. A pal of mine has been going on about how he is going to start at the gym and get himself in shape, been saying this for months, posting about how he's bought new trainers, gear etc etc for the gym, lazy c*nt uses every excuse imaginable for not going.
  13. My day was made when I found out that four of my Facebook friends find the waiting time for a taxi in the morning to be a joke/shocking/bang oot of order...
  14. I met a few folk like that when I am over in Ireland visiting relatives. It's not as prevalent nowadays but you still bump into a couple of folk the more rural you go, like you say it's like a pensioner in a teens body.
  15. Been doing the rounds on my facebook page, but I am a fan.
  16. And to top it all off, you came on here to talk about Celtic. You're certainly a creature of habit StandFree.
  17. More than likely, although I don't seeing it being a huge amount. Personally it should have been we either play St Johnstone or we take a weekend break, not take time off and then play friendlies. We lost 1-0. Made your weekend no doubt.
