A hybrid model is probably the way forward, Is full time football sustainable at Palmerston long term? probably not. I'm not sure if I would want someone to come along and put vast quantities of money in to the club , unlikely I know. What happens if they walk away from the club leaving the club in massive debt with administration a real possibility (quite possible at Kelty and Cove). A large bond would be required to prevent this from happening. I would rather have some form of football at Palmerston than none at all. I think it it's time Hewitson stepped aside and let someone come forward to steer the ship in a better direction, It might be that someone is willing to do it but not willing to work with Hewitson. One of the factors to help a business succeed is having good PR which is close to non existent at Palmerston.

I think Muirhead is more likely to play for Annan than Queens if he wants to play football in the Dumfries area. Not sure he would receive a great reception from the Queens fans and could quite easily become a scapegoat for any defensive frailties.

Whether Johnston is here or not (I hope he goes) I would say that formation and team selection is a good shout. A major problem with getting local investment is that they would have to work with Hewitson and I don't think many people want to do that. Is there many local business owners that have the money to invest?

I would like to think this will be Johnston's last game, After the Cove game he deserves the bullet, Soares Junior was non existent and McGrory wasn't much better. Queens have the nucleus of a decent squad but when you have a manager who doesn't know how to set the team up it's far from encouraging.
