Courier confirmed Liam Dick will be suspended for Saturday.

Not surprised. However it's been an area us as fans have been concerned about in terms of lack of cover so a pity Murray hasn't been able to bolster that position. McGill or Murray at left back it is, I'd imagine it'll be the former as doubt Murray will want to play Masson/Corr(if he's fit) at centre back.

Much like a certain January transfer window signing from 2022 won't sit well with much of your fanbase.

Of course it doesn't. However from where we were then to now is night and day. Good team on the pitch, record season ticket sales (for us it's good before any crowd wanks start), things going well off the pitch, fans/team/board pulling in the same direction. A lot to be happy about from our end 🙂

The ball from Mullin for the chance when Vaughan hit the post is really something else. De-Bruyne-esque.

It was indeed. Didn't really appreciate the quality of the pass when watching in real time but seeing it in the highlights it is something else.

Enjoyed the day out yesterday. Thought we were ok, matched Hibs well at times and weren't pumped. Pity we couldn't have just kept things tight after equalising. One thing I noticed was the general physique and build of prem players, a very clear step above from what we have. Hibs players just seemed to be able to naturally judge bounce of the ball, knew how to adjust their bodies when under pressure and generally could knock us off the ball easier. Any 2nd ball it always seemed a Hib players was there to pick it up. Things seemed quite flat in the ground from both sets of fans. Could tell that from a Hibs point of view it was just a run of the mill game/victory to them with understandably bigger things coming up.

Anyone who was waiting on a season ticket in the post not had it through yet?

Still waiting as well however we changed our season ticket seats to be in the Railway Stand and I'm sure email I got said physical ticktes will be sent out at a later date for people in that boat. Never received a physical season ticket for the South Stand prior to us changing stand. Interestingly my Fanbase account still has us in the South Stand but in two totally different rows, first of me noticing.

Advised by Hibs to use St Clair Street (nor KDY!) but its first come first served. Person answering was very helpful, generally how I've found it with them over the years.

Cheers mate, managed to speak to someone a few days ago and they advised the same. We're going to head through early and chance our luck getting a space on St Clair Street 👍

  6. Club running two busses from Bevvy Park to Easter Road on Sunday, tenner a head. Only available to season ticket holders at the moment. Not that I'm going by bus but noticed within the email there's a link which takes you to Fanbase to book bus. It would only let me book one seat however my sons season ticket is on my Fanbase account as well and can't see where I'd add him for the bus if we were taking up clubs offer.

My gym time of late has been a bit directionless and I know that when there's no goal or structure my work becomes less effective.....

Considering a return to 5x5s as I do enjoy the buzz of lifting heavy, but then I did hurt myself last time on big squats and haven't done them since....

Anyone had some recent inspiration they want to share?

I've been doing Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 since April, loving it albeit I'm on cycle 5 (each cycle is 4 weeks) and can feel my lifts starting to plateau a bit as the lifts are getting heavier. One of the few programmes I've actually stuck with for an extended period of time and seeing results in terms of what I can lift. It's not based on maxing out but more so rep maxes so it's a decent goal setting split where if you managed X reps one week aim to beat that week after.

  8. Remember the John Millar game well, we were in the top tier and it was bouncing. I was absolutely sloshed for the Grant Anderson game so my memories are hazy, have a vague memory of being in a Hibs pub at full time and 2 or 3 Rovers fans starting up Rovers chants. Hibs fans did not appreciate that.

Great to see the tickets selling so well but seems absolutely bizzare that half that stand will be empty and we are not getting the chance to sell as much of it as wee can.

Think Hibs will probably be hedging their bets on not needing to open the top tier. As it stands we're looking at about 1500 Rovers fans heading through which I'd guess is the good majority of the bottom tier.

  10. Any Hibees able to give any advice on disabled parking at Easter Road? Auld man is a blue badge holder but no one at Hibs have answered the phone or responded to his emails. Had a nosey on Hibs website and see it mentons disabled parking on south side of St Clair street, is that available to both sets of supporters and is it just a case of turning up and hoping there's a parking space?

From the outside, it looked more like a Kids Club than a singing section on Saturday.

I really don't want to be negative, but I can't help but think it's a rare miss from the new regime.

The Community Foundation were doing a group gathering thing where all the kids could meet up before the game and go into the ground together, they plumped for Railway Stand. Was getting worried I was the oldest in there until a few older heads turned up...I'd imagine purely for the vantage point 😜

Just watched the Morton highlights, that snare drum might add "atmosphere" but makes viewing an absolute chore.

Think I've been left with tinnitus!!

Was a young school aged laddie who goes to the Community Foundation camps that my son goes to as well that was on the drum, interestingly one of the Community Foundation coaches was telling him to belt up before the teams came out and tried to politely tell him to try and keep a beat. Unfortunately the Railway Stand was a damp squib on Saturday, it'll certainly be one of those 'depending on who we play' on whether any atmosphere will be generated. A complete morgue in comparison to the Dunfermline game. Noticed there was a drum in the South Stand as well on Saturday. Railway Stand has it's perks, pie stall is deed, view is great...that's about it 😆
