Going by Fanbase looks like there’s been a late rally for tickets. One section of the south stand completely sold out and pars looks to be bringing a big crowd.

Was 4700 odd the other day and looks like it might get between 5500-6000 which is good. Not quite the 6808 against United however.

I'd suspect the bottom rows of the North Stand will be unavailable as will the good majority of the section nearest the railway stand as pretty much all the seats are broken. Decent turnout none the less.

As for the game. I'll plump for a draw. Dunfermline looked not bad in the league cup game and didn't look a team down to the bare bones at the game at the KDM Stadium. Always close games. 1-1, preferably with us getting the equaliser through a Ross Millen last minute goal at the North Stand end.

I see we have now stopped selling tickets for the railway stand for this weekends game. I can’t see Dunfermline selling out their allocation so I am assuming it’s to save some money on stewards etc

Spot on. Just got an email from the club saying exactly that and to pick a seat in another stand for Saturday. Also asked if we want to relocate to another stand permanently so looks like they're starting to wind down using the Railway Stand going forward. I have plumped to return to the South Stand.

  3. These games are usually tight affairs and not expecting anything less on Saturday, regardless of Dunfermline's recent defeats. From our end a lot hinges on who's fit. Unless Murray has mentioned anything about injuries (if he has I've not seen it) then it's either to not give anything away to the opposition camp or things are bleak and he doesn't want to give fans bad news in the build up to the game. I'm leaning more towards the latter.

I'm sure it was Hamilton we saw in the behind the scenes matchday video against Dundee United on crutches as the players came into the ground.

Yeah I spied that as well. Good news though, Hamilton was in the main stand on Saturday against Montrose along with Corr, Matthews and Gullan and wasn't on crutches.

    Yeah there was.

However if your a casual fan not signed up for the emails, and you missed the fb post a few days ago, then there is nothing on the Raith website or Fanbase to suggest the Railway Stand is now for United fans.

Tickets for that section are on sale, so could be bought in error by Raith fans.

When you click on a seat in the RS it takes you to price options and in brackets says 'away'.

I think we have a fair few rotten seats around the ground, the south stand is showing its age due to poor/lapsed maintenance over the years  and I think the North is/was worse

My son does one of the football classes on a Saturday and Sunday morning at Starks and typically parents sit in the North Stand during this. There's a whack of seats on the far side (nearest the Railway Stand) that have backrests but no seat to actually sit on so capacity within the North Stand is limited. I'm actually suspecting when a seat in the South Stands gets broken they replace them from the other stand. When looking out to the South Stand from the North Stand there's seats in the home end which should be either red or white (in the RRFC design) that have blue seats with either a white/red backrest. There was a period where the seats at the front of the North Stand were none existant but have since been replaced. If you're ever in the North Stand they are a bit of a different design (and look new obviously) to the other seats and a good bit comfier as well.
