I can't see it happening. Hardline only became "free" with EA Access on XBOne last week. It's going to cause some fallout if PS gamers start getting EA games free on PS Plus, but Xboxers have to pay for EA Access on top of their Gold subscription.

This. In terms of pure gameplay, one of the all-time greats.

Finished the game at the weekend, and completed the (superb) DLC last night. Can't really add much more to what's already been said. Not sure if it's the best game ever, but it's definitely the best I've played.

At best it’s maybe a case of right guy, wrong time. He began to posture around the early-to-mid 90’s and if he’d taken over full control then and thrown in the money then with a bit of luck who knows what might have happened. He couldn’t have done a worse job than Wilson did in his last year or so and we would have avoided the whole Hugh Scott years. We would probably still have crashed and burned eventually, but we’d have had more to show for the $2m debt. However, he didn’t get in until he did. Being (very?) generous, he had some bad luck in his first few seasons. He pulled back in the first season when we seemed doomed to unavoidable relegation, and then missed the lifeline that Airdrie’s demise could have provided us. Third season was the first with a transfer window and saw our massive lead collapse after it was too late to do anything to change things. Fifth season we had the double whammy of Gretna and the first season with lower division play-offs, both combining to result in us missing promotion. But only one good season (and that in Division 3) out of his first five saw much goodwill and certainly all positive momentum following the Club’s survival collapse. A three-year plan to be challenging for promotion to SPL, became double that just to get back into the First and the less said about what we’ve done since the better. It’s just been mistake after mistake. Which you could accept if he learned the lessons and moved on, but it’s the same mistakes that keep being made over and over. Throw money at it, that doesn’t work so throw more money at it, that doesn’t work so what’ll we do now? Have we tried throwing money at it? I think he’s now trapped. He can’t be enjoying what he’s doing and he’s just splurging more and more of his money, which he’s not going to get back. It’s just a salvage job for him now, but that is harder to execute than when he was aiming for the stars and is beyond his abilities.

Quite enjoyed it. Thought it dragged a bit before the end, but then redeemed itself. Better than I was expecting when it was first announced, but poorer than I was hoping for after reading the initial reviews. I'm j intrigued to see where they go to from here, I struggle to see it having the legs (but hope I'm wrong).

First attempt at this. Got 7/10. Think I should maybe quit whilst ahead.

Recently 100%'d the single player campaign on Clash of Heroes. . Turns out the Achievement is glitched and it only counts progress made during the full game. If you started on the trial/demo, bought the game at the end of the demo, saved progress and contined from there (like I did), the Achievement doesn't unlock. Would've have minded so much if the campaign hadn't taken me 37 hours to complete!

I got that achievement with my son, who had just turned 4, and six-year-old daughter. My son got bored after about a minute. Lost the game something like 9-0 but managed to get the achievement.

Finally got around to getting 1,000/1,000 on Madden NFL 09 this morning. You can do it in four matches if you go about it the right way.

Finished all the acievements on Dorito's Crash Course last weekend. The Gold Medal on every track achievement was quite hard work. Only realised towards the end that pressing Y takes you immediately back to the last checkpoint (so you don't lose a second or two watching your avatar fall into the water).

I kind of knew the answer all along. Put it this way, I took her to Palmerston the other week.

Watched Shaolin Soccer at the weekend. Sort of film that has you smiling despite knowing that what you're smiling at isn't actually all that funny, if that makes any sense. 8/10.

Hmm, my 4-year-old loves her Cat in the Hat DVD. I don't know if that says more about the film, my parenting skills, or Salty's taste in films.
