  1. I’ve got a Bushnell Hybrid that’s both a rangefinder and has a gps display, think cost me about 330 last year. Don’t have a house, wife or kids (yet!) so I can justify paying that amount on my hobby
  2. Really good listen that, Gardiner comes across really well. Wonder if now that we know we’ll be in Championship next season, we’ll see some of the younger lads he mentioned get resigned
  3. Played yesterday and shot 4 over so very pleased with that, the guys in front of us were a bit slow, the old waiting for the group in front to get 250 yards away then topping their drive. I’ve not see much of an increase in the pace of play round our place, think we were 3 and a half hours yesterday
  4. Seen someone on twitter claim that Harry Nicholson and Ryan Fyffe have been given new deals but they’ve been announced as leaving? Anyone got any idea what sort of wages we offer players? Can’t imagine we’ll have guys on a grand a week, maybe 500/600 a week? Plus bonuses?
  5. A bit disappointed that pretty much all the young boys that went out to Fort William have been released. Thought some of them had a bright future going by Charlie Christie’s comments on the Wyness Shuffle but bottom of the highland league to top of the championship is a big step up
  6. Was it when Yogi was there that Raith had to play Stevenson in goals for a game? Think it might’ve been against Ayr?
  7. A lot of the boys in the Inverness team said he’s the best coach they’ve worked with. Guys like Tansey, Tremarco, Raven all said he brought them on leaps and bounds. But I think Hughes got very lucky with our squad as we had a very good team when he joined that Butcher had assembled and Hughes added a couple of players likeTansey and Ofere. Other than that his transfer dealings were absolutely rank rotten. TL;DR He’s a good coach but his recruitment is shit
  8. I’m the same but opposite to yourself, not played many through that side of the country
  9. A bit more East than that, the water in the background is the Forth if that helps!
  10. Just back from my first round and the course was in excellent condition, shot 7 over which for not playing in 3 months is not too shabby at all! Greenie to the person who guesses the course right first!
  11. Our tee booking opened on Sunday night at 6.30 and after clubv1 had a number of hissy fits managed to book a time for Friday at 13.53, and my mate got Saturday and Sunday for 10.00 so 3 times in the first 3 days of opening is not bad My dad plays at Turnhouse in Edinburgh and they've split the course into two on the booking system and the booking system opened at 7.00 Sunday morning and he logged in at 7.30 and the earliest time he could get was 18:55 on Friday night, to be expected when they have that many members tbf Not expecting much from the first game back, but hopefully over the weekend can look to break 80 and get back to consistency
  12. David Carson 7/10 - didn't rate him much at the beginning of the season but seems to be growing into this league and had some good games before lockdown James Vincent 5/10 - Might be harsh, but not as good as the first time around and seems to be injury prone James Keatings 8/10 - Scored some good goals and a definite improvement to the side Mitchell Curry 4/10 - Signed, got injured, played a handful of times, scored a couple and then left. A very meh signing Nikolay Todorov 5/10 - Not played much as Jordan White's been our main striker, was worried after seeing he couldn't get into the worst Falkirk side in living memory but seems to be a good squad member Lewis Toshney 4/10? - Only seen him play Vs Dunfermline at East End and when he started against Alloa and then got carted off after 2 mins. Hopefullly can stay clear of injury when football starts again Miles Storey 5/10 - Really quick, no end product and definitely not a winger either
  13. Best - Brown, Brill and Esson Alright - Regeuro, Tuffey, Fraser Worst - Malkowski and Fon Williams I don’t remember Michael Fraser being as bad as people are saying but I was only about 11/12 when he played regularly for us
  14. Really enjoying these, I don’t get to many games as I’d like so hearing about the games from a fans perspective is great
  15. Watched Robbos post match interview from Tuesday, and he’s speaking very highly of Todorov. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s our first choice striker for next season
  16. That’s fair then! Hard to tell from the other side of the ground but I’ll wait for the highlights and have another look!
  17. Before the goal I thought Dunfermline were really hard to break down then after we scored we were popping it about easily Nisbet had a glorious chance to score when it was 0-0 McKay and Toshney both had no clue where he was. Macgregor went down very theatrically in the box also. Number 6 for Dunfermline(Ashcroft) looked like he was struggling for most of the second half, was surprised it took that long for him to be subbed. On another day, could’ve easily been a different result
  18. https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/scottish-fa-statement-james-keatings/ SFA have shat it
  19. Don’t think it’s Jack Brown, he’s a fair bit shorter than the mystery number 6
  20. Watching the half time segment on Alba earlier and I didn’t recognise the guy wearing no.6, anyone recognise who he is?
