  1. If Cove and Arbroath go down and Falkirk and Dunfermline come up then it would mean every team next season is full time. Any ideas when the last time all 10 sides were FT? Would be a few years ago now I suspect? Think we’re just too far away now to be dragged back into it. Much prefer the setup of these playoffs rather than the nonsense set up of the Premiership playoff
  2. Derek says aye to the killie pie doesn’t have the same ring to it
  3. I wonder if the introduction of VAR has seen some lower category refs being bumped up the pecking order undeservedly?
  4. Graeme Shinnie and Nick Ross dad’s must’ve had a personal line to Terry Butcher Surely if we were that bad at bringing these lads through. They would go elsewhere kick on and end up at a higher/similar level. Being honest I can’t really think of anyone that fits that mould and most of the youth players we bring through end up in the Highland league etc or league 2 at best. I think for the size of club we are and the geographical element, we do pretty well.
  5. I did, was very soft under foot at parts so had to take it easy and was more trails than I was used to but enjoyed it! Paced it horribly and found it much more difficult than Falkirk. It is a fun course though! Doing a 10k at the Falkirk wheel tomorrow which was postponed from the Queen dying in September. Signed up for the Round the houses 10k in Grangemouth in April so tomorrow should give me a good idea of what time I should aim for.
  6. This is either 5 at the back or 4 at the back with Duffy at right back and Carson pushed into midfield, Harper on the left wing where he’s massively ineffective. Ayr to win by at least 3 goals and my decision not to go vindicated
  7. She said the word “like” so much it stopped sounding like a word
  8. Absolutely amazing to me that a commentator who is paid to watch football doesn’t know the offside rule
  9. Unfortunately not, we split up during lockdown when i still lived with my folks. Got my own flat now though and do alright but not quite as often
  10. That’s great going! Well done Down to 13st 13 this morning so 6lbs off in February. Run just under 100k in Feb and noticed that some clothes are starting to get baggier/fit better. Still not had an alcoholic drink this year. Please with the progress so far
  11. I think the only two of our current squad to make it in would be Billy Mckay and Aaron Doran. Mckays closing in on Dennis Wyness as our top goalscorer, might not make it this season but hopefully he gets another couple of years so he can get there for sure. 3 spells with us and the only negative is he played for County but I’ll not hold that against him Doran’s been with us since 2011 and was superb from 2011-2015, since then he’s probably missed as many games as he’s played but due to his longevity and his contributions when he’s injury free I’d class him as a legend.
  12. My ex was fucking chronic for that, we’d be leaving somewhere in the car and I’d ask her to sort out google maps on the phone. “2 mins just posting to Instagram” Not like we’ve got a 4 hour car journey ahead of us that you could’ve fit that task into. Love reading through this thread to appreciate how stress free my life is being single. Only drawback is the frequency of my Nat King but you can’t have everything I suppose
  13. I’m sure the concert shambles was seen as a “good plan” too, how did that work out?
  14. Most of their fans lap it up too, seen far too many “on their toes” “first battle of the day won” type post already and kick offs still 2.5 hours away
  15. 35 years old and not a played game this season due to injury. He’ll keep our 14 year old physio busy
  16. I think last season was our best chance to win the league so far, to finish only 8 points off the eventual winners after not winning for 13 games from December to March is good going. Hard to tell how the Gardyne stuff affected the squad but going by results it possibly did have an effect. Disagree about our first season back down though, the team wasn’t as good as we think and there was no way we were beating Dundee United then Livingston then Partick.
  17. Our strongest starting 11 was the 2019/20 season imo but the wider squad was rotten. First choice defence of: Ridgers Rooney Donaldson Mccart Tremarco was very solid but when you have dross like Brad Mckay, Mchattie and the perenially injured Toshney coming in as back up and even starting when Donaldson and Mccart were sold it was worrying. Keatings as well who could actually deliver a corner and hit a decent free kick. He seems to have completely broke down now and playing in the Lowland league, sad to see. Colin Seedorf was absolutely honking. Terrible excuse for a footballer, when we played Livingston at the end of the season you could see the rest of the team was reluctant to give him the ball and Livi even stopped marking him.
  18. His sending off away at Falkirk was an unreal heads gone too. Got booked then very soon after just kicked the back of a Falkirk players heels and got himself sent off
