  1. Record time Stephen, good work and pleased to see the emojis included as always
  2. I can’t see any lower league teams beating Celtic if I’m honest, they just look too good (pains me to say it). Partick showed Rangers can be complacent but still would like to avoid both the OF. Love going to Tynecastle but we’d get a doing so avoid too. Raith away at Starks park with Colin Steven refereeing pls
  3. I think if the OF are drawn away then it won’t be used as the infrastructure isn’t there for it to be used in terms of cameras etc? And the outlay for one match isn’t feasible. Happy to be corrected on that though if anyone knows more.
  4. If the penalty Celtic got awarded in the previous round against Morton is a penalty then that one for Partick is a penalty going by the same standards
  5. Admittedly I’ve only watched the 2 derbies vs Hibs and a few other wee clips on Sportscene but Zander Clark seems solid enough if Gordons not available. If yesterdays showing vs Raith is similar to how Kelly has been playing for Motherwell consistently then he should be nowhere near the next squad imo
  6. I think Hester still has a court case hanging over him (Allegations around betting) and I’m fairly sure he signed a new deal at Elgin recently so might not be cheap and I don’t think we’re in a position to be offering cash for players
  7. I meant specifically the Inverness game, sorry We’ve pulled off a decent upset imo and if it’s one of those reports I’ll be fuming
  8. If we get one of those reports where they tell you what happens before it’s happened I’m cancelling my tv licence. In a normal footballing country, it would be Raith or Inverness first as they’ve pulled off the two shocks today (probably Raith as Hammell was sacked after the game). Then possibly the Ayr Elgin game. With the Celtic game going somewhere in 4-6th. We all know that’s simply not possible though.
  9. Glad to hear it’s not just me that thought it was disrespectful. I’d imagine most fans would love a day out to a Semi-final at Hampden with a chance to get to a final. Not surprised the mainstream media sees the best thing for us “diddies” to aim for is playing the Old Firm.
  10. Whoever was at Raith Rovers Motherwell said Raith should be hoping for Rangers/Celtic in the next round as “lets face it Raith aren’t winning the Scottish Cup and at this level it’s about getting as much money as you can”. Found it a tad disrespectful to lower league clubs but might just be me getting my knickers in a twist
  11. I thought Livi played some nice stuff then the first goal seemed to rattle them a bit. The ball sticks to Nouble like glue, he’s some player. Whole team from front to back was superb, Shaw playing in behind Mckay looks a different player from when he’s on the wing. Billy Mckay was outstanding as always, we should ensure he gets at least another 2 year deal in the summer. Ridgers made a couple good saves too, pleasing to see he hasn’t let his head drop after being dropped earlier in the season. Jay Henderson put in a great shift, hope St Mirren weren’t watching. Ref was dire, had no idea when he blew the whistle what way he was going to point at times. Don’t think there was any obvious errors that VAR would’ve picked up but might’ve forgot. All the best to Livi for the rest of the season. I’m a fan of Martindale and sure today will just be a blip.
  12. Baffling how Holt didn’t go in the book for kicking at Shaws heels Hammer throwing
  13. Haven’t we always just announced the tickets sold as the “attendance”? I seem to recall people picking up on this when we were in the Premiership. Might be more noticeable if the people in the stadium is half of the number announced. I’ve not been to a home game for a few years admittedly, used to work every saturday until late 2019 then Covid hit and not managed to get up since. For the product on offer, I can’t justify a full tank of petrol etc. The second half at Ochilview was the most one sided game of football I’ve ever seen, was embarrassing.
  14. Last season Dodds was saved by a strong finish to the season and Shane Sutherland playing like a man possessed. We started off ridiculously good winning something like 6 out of 7 games to start the season. Then the period of 13 games without a win (imo any other team would’ve punted him at this point). This seasons just been dross, two pumpings from Partick, a doing from Morton on the tv and the QP game in November where it was 2-1 going on 6-1 where we had 18 (eighteen) percent possession. The only possible way I see him staying is if he gets promotion somehow, if he’s offered another deal without that then it shows how out of touch the board are with the fans. Feeling very “meh” towards the club as a whole right now. If we get a doing from Livi then I can’t see myself going to many games the rest of the season.
  15. Fair, can sympathise with that. Earlier in the season we had a few 16/17 year olds sat on the bench just for numbers
  16. Do Raith not have any youth players that can sit on the bench?
  17. You both sound far more responsible than those I have to deal with on a daily basis Lockdown was the worst, full families of 8+ people taking up the full path then looking at like you’ve got 2 heads when you’re trying to squeeze past. Not like they’d seen me approaching from 50 metres away
  18. Similarly when I’m out for a run, people have dogs off lead and I get a metre away then their stupid daft dog decides to jump/run infront of me. No problem with the dogs being off the lead just a bit of awareness from the owner would be nice.
  19. Is Dodds contract up at the end of the season? I think he was given a 2 year deal when appointed but not sure if it’s been extended and I’ve missed it
  20. According to Gardiner we’ve not failed in signing a right back as that’s where Duffy was signed to play…. Would love to see an Allardice/Carson partnership given a run of games, would involve actually signing a right back though. Worth noting that Ayr have Akinyemi up front who is massive, whereas Billy Mckay is not.
