  1. We usually only play 1 upfront with someone sitting deeper mostly Shaw this season. I can’t remember many games where we’ve played with 2 upfront
  2. I was having a look at the squad page on the official website and Deas, Allardice, Henderson, Surherland etc have all been removed. Interestingly, Tom Walsh still remains on the page, wonder if he’s been offered something and we’ve just not been told. https://ictfc.com/team/inverness-caledonian-thistle/
  3. He was never actually “our” player either which makes the reaction all the more baffling. He had played well in multiple televised games so was always going to be offski imo. There’s many reasons to be annoyed at the club right now but Henderson signing for them isn’t one.
  4. Tbh it’s probably quite easy to be negative about the club at the minute, cup final aside, we’ve just had our lowest league finish in god knows how many years. We’re dicking about our top scorer and best player from last season because he wants an extra year on his deal. It’s July tomorrow and there’s no signs of any new kits. We’ve had no update on when the players are/came back for preseason. The club have been pretty silent since the last contract update (barring the announcements of the new signings and updated contracts). Robbie Deas got his own statement on the club website to say he was leaving, the club haven’t even acknowledged Allardice has left yet (might be because he signed for County but even a simple tweet to say he’s offski). All we’ve had from the club lately is a daily scheduled post about season tickets. You’ve also got the Sutherland situ (depending on who you believe). Don’t get me wrong I agree that people on twitter can be overly negative but I think there’s some very valid reasons to be a bit down on the club at the minute.
  5. My uncle had falsers from a youngish age (30s maybe?) used to do this weird thing where he’d slide them out over his lip and hang them there. Gave me the absolute fear and it’s no surprise we don’t get on with that side of the family
  6. Great look to be signing a guy who got banned for 10 games for sectarian nonsense
  7. Virgin media tend to cold call their own customers to try and get them on better (more expensive*) deals. When the girl phoned and said we’re going to get you on a better deal for your package and I replied “Great how much are you knocking off a month then?”. She couldn’t wait to get off the phone when she realised she wasn’t going to make anything. Had a wee guy from HelloFresh at the door a couple months back who was a cheeky wee c**t. Listened to his spiel cause I was bored and then he told me to get my phone out and he’ll talk me through my first order. At no point did he ask if I was interested. Found it interesting that one of his best selling points was “your neighbours have all signed up”(they haven’t).
  8. I hope the #Staunch striker you’re referring to isn’t a former Kilmarnock and Rangers striker?
  9. Dumbarnie is probably number 1 for me, both of the courses at Blairgowrie are fantastic aswell. Played their scratch open a couple years on the trot when I was still playing, £60 for 36 holes and you get your lunch in the middle. In the more affordable category I’d go for Golspie, fantastic links/heathland mix. Played it many times when up visiting my grandparents as a youngster.
  10. The record for fastest Munro round has been beaten: https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/news/record-for-fastest-munro-round-smashed-by-jamie-aarons/ Hats off to those who can manage all 282 in a month, I’ll stick a more leisurely pace though
  11. Some of the stuff he comes out with has me in stitches, would love to spend an hour with him
  12. Studying computer science at uni I have many anecdotes of people who’d typically be classed as “a weirdo”. Some of the shit they done or said still makes me laugh so keep them all I say
  13. Speaking of comebacks, Sean Welsh has definitely been on holiday to Turkey.
  14. Sorry to burst the bubble but that’s not his real hair. It’s a hair system, effectively a toupee glued to his scalp. Was former footballer turned barber Lee Miller that worked his magic on him.
  15. Yeah I think it was a fan of another club that said that, would be interesting to find out how much we’d actually benefit from it.
  16. Remember the Green Freeport tax zone too! We are a sleeping giant just waiting for the right moment
