  1. Oddly I'd always take being involved at either end of the table over meaningless. It comes with more anxiety but if you win/stay up it creates brilliant memories, feelings etc. If you lose/get relegated then I find it also brings a bit of togetherness at the club. Now obviously I'd rather be fighting for the title but I'm so looking forward to this weekends game, plus the two to follow because it matters so much.
    I agree with this.

    Meaningful games all day long.
  2. f**k, listening to Dick Campbell is sad. Laff on the same as the rest.
Always find the slum/pot licker stuff funny looking down on your affluent WFAANW club with a stadium (as much as I love it) that's basically a midden. Sadly your town seems to have been affected disproportionately to the weegie loving c***s than others. You should have kicked the wee fuckers harder when you were at school and told them Somerset is where its at!
The very definition of word salad.
  3. Wild that as bad as Mercedes have been, and they have been rubbish, George is second in the driver standings and Lewis is above Max
Is it just me who now finds verstappen a complete w**k? I didn't mind him too much last year but this season he's been a whiny bitch.

I've got no great love for Hamilton but he seems to have screwed the nut from his early wankiness years and has got behind some decent causes.

Russell is the epitome of a posh English twat.

I'm all in favour of the Ferrari lads this year but I'd love Hamilton and the Mercedes to recover to make it a 3-way fight for the title (with anyone but verstappen winning).

I'd also love perez to get a better run of luck as he seems like an all-round good guy.
  4. Glad Fraser got his goal- he has been made a villain a wee bit but it’s not his fault. He has been thrown in when not really ready but this will give home some confidence
No-one is making him a villain, but he's been used badly, and folk are pointing it out. Great finish and hopefully his confidence will soar.

    Chalk and cheese this performance.
  5. Mcinroy looks like he's having a pretty poor game, and that was always going to spell trouble considering how important he's been for us recently.

Kenyon also turns like an oil tanker.

I'm somehow hoping that the performance in the second half of the Killie game is just ahead of us.

Inverness are just controlling things now, so let's hope they can't turn it back on again if we somehow manage to score.

    Desperate stuff.

  6. Has it been this bad recently? I've not been to a game since Killie, and before that away to ict.

    This is horrific.

Far too narrow. Bryden looks lost and Maxwell is losing every battle. McKenzie really poor as well, his lack of anticipation for the second goal.

Long ball to Ashford but Inverness are so far in front of us it's unreal.

  7. Agree with this and if it was a close friend or relative I would go but I have been invited to the evening reception of four of my work colleagues over the last few years and have declined them all. Nothing against them personally and I hope they have long and happy marriages but I just didn't want to go.
This may be because I am a grumpy old man though
We organised our wedding on the basis of this, and tried to mitigate things as much as possible.

I made sure we had the football scores on the TV whilst we were getting photos done, and we stuck 200 quid behind the bar for that couple of hours between the service and the meal.

Whole wedding in one venue, no photographer and spent more on the band.

    Worked out pretty well.
  8. I don’t really care what people get upto in their private life but Calvert lewin can’t be cutting about dressed like he has been and slagging everton fans whilst turning in performances like that. Absolute dug meat
What the f**k has happened to him? He's been brilliant in the past. A big handful, scoring goals for fun. He's really shite these days.
  9. This season of ours is going to hinge on this game up at east end innit?
    Not necessarily.

We need 2 wins, and all 4 are winnable. Alternatively, 3 draws (assuming one at East end park) might also do it.

Might actually put the shitters up them knowing they need to get a result on Saturday, but aye 8th looking like a struggle now.
It's not a struggle, and we need to remember that Dunfermline would rather be in our position. A 2 point advantage and we don't need to play Killie away.

If we finish 9th we'll go down, and we'll deserve it.

But it's more than just 'in our hands'.
  10. Worrying trend now with Higgins. That's three (I think) finals lost recently.
    Fair play to Robertson though.
I missed the end. Just too tired.
He's had that about him for a good few years now. Lots of falling at the final hurdle, almost like a version of the yips in golf.
  11. Certain elements of it have worked and helped a lot of people. It was the dictatorial aspect of it i didn't like as it had the potential to impact certain sections of our support. Teething problems at this stage suggests the old moaners might have  been worth listening to.  Assuming that the hub takes cash there is less excuse for not reintroducing a cash gate.
It should never have been an 'all in' introduction.

A gradual move to these things is always the best way to go.
  12. superb goal

the cretinous tam english is just waiting impatiently to jump on anything to bring down the squad morale and support. should have heard him at half time. the guy is a complete hack and shouldnae be allowed to do scotland games until we finish the playoffs.
This is just pish. I listened to it half time and English gives the team and manager the credit they deserve.

You're obviously just hearing what you want to hear.
