Hi folks. Is it really £28 for an adult and £15 for a child for this match?
I'm thinking of taking my boy along but was slightly taken aback by those prices.0 -
Really difficult to call at both ends.
Think arbroath stumble unfortunately, and only killie look likely to capitalise.
At the bottom dunfermline look hard to beat but can they win enough games? Draws are no good.
Queens have had a huge boost but its out just a flash in the pan?
And ayr are all over the place, winning recently against the top 3 and losing to everyone else. But the wins are vital, and if this erratic form continues we'll have enough for 8th.
Killie champions
Partick with a late run to get promotion thru the playoffs
Dunfermline playoffs and will survive
Queens to go down.0 -
Of course there's a bit of hypocrisy but that's how things change in the world. People take a stand, and other people notice. Slowly but surely (or in this case, fueled by social media, quite quickly)...society changes.
It's definitely a sign of progress.
Goodwillie will be looking around thinking he's the victim of a witch-hunt, and if this had happened 15-20 years ago I reckon he'd have got away with it with very little fuss created.
But f**k him. He can feel sorry for himself all he likes. Maybe roland will take him for a pint to help down his sorrows.3 -
That's the key.English guy ain't selling 12k tickets and a shit ton of PPV subscriptions for future fights... all about the £££.
But who benefits? Ben shalom liked absolutely raging - or was that an act?
Doesn't have the name and reputation in the states. Taylor does. That's where the big fights are now.Would an English undisputed world champ not sell out any arena in England and a shit ton of PPV subscriptions?0 -
Calm yourself doon. Mccoist is very good. Aye he's biased but he's fairly sound with it. He's also exactly the same with Scotland.FFS! The BT commentary is disgusting.
Having passion-less commentary would be ridiculous.3 -
Aye, pretty good.Is that including broadband and landline, very decent price!
We've been with them for fucking 20 years so it bloody should be a good deal (even though that means bugger all to them).
I've noticed the signal cutting out a lot recently when it never used to.I can't help but feel my Virgin Media broadband is shite.
Signal drops from my laptop constantly and the missus moans about the signal she gets upstairs
Might need to get someone to check this.0 -
Any idea why police Scotland are still in the 1980s in terms of paying their speeding fines? Cheque or postal order.
If it's just too be awkward then I quite like it. When you get notice of the fine they don't include a stamped address envelope or easy way to admit your guilt. It needs to be done in writing. Old school.
Part of me admires their level if shit-housery here (as annoying as it fucking is).0 -
We got the phonecall back, offering us £68pm for 18 months, and we've accepted.I've been fucked over by virgin recently.
I got the January price rise letter and phoned up to have that knocked off (Martin Lewis told me to). They did it but then the confirmation email had a completely different agreed deal - charging me 9 quid pm more.
That annoyed me.
This evening I phoned up to cancel, hoping for a last minute deal, and got one. I got offered my current deal (2 boxes, sky sports, bt sports) for £60pm.
But the woman said there was an error so I was to phone back in 10 minutes and she'd put a note on on my account. I did this, and no-one could then offer me that deal. They agreed the note was there, and that I'd been given that offer, but now they couldn't confirm it. Ended up at the complaints dept and have now terminated my contract.
17 years of virgin and it looks like I'm finally done. The missus has agreed to get an alternative set up but I'm still half expecting a phone call offering me the deal at 60.
But f**k me what a mess of a company. That was 90 minutes of my life I'm not getting back.
We've got sky sports, bt sports, and 2 boxes so that's probably a fair price.
The woman on the phone said she couldn't defend how they'd handled the negotiation. She said in 18 months time weve to phone back, refuse their first offer, and then cancel. At that stage someone from her dept would phone us and give us the best price.
I wanted 60 but I had reluctantly agreed 70 to begin with, so 68 without any hassle of changing seems pretty fair.0 -
After I'm fed up losing my shit, I quite like going for the quiet, ruthless consequence.I just spat on myself whilst mid ranting and raving at the kids. Ffs.
As a serious point though, these two do not. Fucking. LISTEN!
I must repeat myself about a hundred times a day and the rage over it is getting worse. I know folk will say different but I am convinced other folks weans cant be as bad as this for listening/following simple instructions.
Kids playing up in the car is great. One gentle, upbeat warning. Then a very clear but still quiet final warning.
Then I take away their time on the consoles.
I have to admit there's a wee bit of me that revels in their pain.
My missus loses the rag much more, even though she let's them away with murder.

I don't keep up to date with Inverness fans feelings or dodds interviews - but folk love to talk pish and exaggerate something out of nothing.Your absolutely right.
Despite being a 'copy and paste' of what he says after every loss. Even the Inverness fans are tiring of it and are calling for his sacking.
That game could've easily went the other way. There was very little in it.

f**k no. That boy was a c**t. Good player when he feels like it but they needed to punt him.Aubameyang scored a hat-trick for Barcelona at Valencia.
Arteta must be seething because he paid him over £8 million to terminate his contract.
Typical Arsenal! [emoji4]2 -
Best angle I got on the goal was from the Inverness FC youtube channel. I'm not so sure there's an issue [emoji848] looks more like he's been modest about it.
Also, the Billy Dodds post match interview was hilarious. I suggest watching that for a giggle.
Lads there's f**k all wrong with what dodds said in that interview.Aye, an utter fantasist. The second goal was deflected in like it was unlucky. Should a defender not have been marking Tomi? [emoji1787]
Dodds, GIRFUY
Ayr were not the better team in the first half and Inverness were unlucky to be a goal down.
The second ayr goal also had an element of fortune about it. The free kick was shite but mckenzie did well to hammer it into a great area.
Inverness had chances, and failed to take them, and we got our goals at absolutely the right time. We weren't dominating them at all.1 -
I presumed they were using that phrase ironically...People referring to “The Barclays” as in “That goal was pure Barclays” or “a only in the Barclays”.
It’s a meaningless phrase given the variance in quality and entertainment that is actually one show between the top and bottom teams.
There’s plenty of games that are dire in that league, so pretending it’s some amazing product is stupid. We aren’t selling it, so we can leave the eulogising to Sky Sports.2 -
Do you reckon most folk support the team from the town they moved to, or the team from the town they grew up in?Yep, Rab's a Dumfries boy ... unless you pop doon wi' a spade ...
He's ours. Dumfries fucking killed him.4 -
Was the performance really that good?Just about sobering up after good Highland hospitality, excellent second half performance I can definitely see the plan now they're all working towards a set goal. The midfield we're awesome and have made all the difference was actually blown away with how good Dempsey and McEnroy were, McGinty was absolutely excellent easily his best game, McAdams double save first half were out of this world good, young Rowe was excellent when he came on and I'm sorry if people don't see what Tommi brings then perhaps fitba maybe isn't their game, his hold up play and strength were excellent, perhaps just now that 30 minutes cameo is whats needed, but he is a definite player.
I thought we competed well but we took the lead against the run of play.
Inverness were poor, and we looked solid at the back. It's an excellent result but I wasn't blown away by the performance.
I thought he looked sheepish because he knew it hit him, rather than him actually scoring. Could be wrong, though.Watched Mattmans Vlog of the game - probably looking for things that aren’t there, but Adeloye’s body language at his goal still suggest there is a problem of some sort. Really didn’t acknowledge the fans at all despite scoring in front of them.
Definitely didn't celebrate the way he did at the start of the season.0 -
She was a lost soul. Not too bright but had just enough about her to walk away from these c***s.Theroux continues his unbroken streak of finding the most deluded, vile creatures to build a themed program around - although these slugs promote themselves so widely it's hard to believe a full-time researcher was needed in this case. At least people who don't frequent the online areas these types inhabit may realise that there is some horrible stuff going on, and a lot of it is bleeding into real life.
The girl - she "can see the humour" in threats of anal rape? What the fúck?
She'll continue to slowly realise how fucked up they were.0 -
Fucking hell. Sounds like a clear beating.

I've only got it on the radio but jeezo it sounds like brook is really hurting khan.

I didn't see it clearly but did he divert it in? I genuinely thought it just hit him. It certainly was traveling at some speed, and his celebration suggested that he didn't know much about it.Adeloye done f@ck all but deflect a decent shot at goal into the net. I don't get this love in with someone who has trouble controlling a football.
Thought he did quite well otherwise, but can be frustrating.0 -
Absolutely. They seem to be a shambles at the moment.Had a similar issue a couple of weeks ago, got a letter informing me of a rise from £42.50 to £46.50, got someone to look at my deal and got it back down to £40, happy days. Email confirmation however didn't match what had been agreed and I had to call them about 6 times in total before they managed to send me an email with the correct agreed price in writing, was losing the will to live by this point.
You may well get another call trying to retain you, if you are really not fussed whether you leave or not then if the call comes use it to really turn the screw on them for a price you are happy with.0 -
Surely this isn't going all the way?I think Brook has been the better boxer throughout their careers, but at this moment in time, and after 2 serious eye socket injuries, I’m edging towards Khan. Khan has looked confident during the build up to this, I think he’s going to win via a points decision.
Khan within 6 for me.
Brook is thick as f**k, and didn't come across well in the build up.0 -
So I don't need to buy away tickets online? Just as easy to turn up and buy them from the shop in the stand?

Looks lovely but a bit fancy for the kids.Give the Rocpool a try, just over the bridge in the centre of town.
We've booked into a pizza place, Cheese and Tomatin? We've been to zizi's but weren't too impressed.0

Everything I've seen suggests he was a decent guy.
I also really liked his commentary. Very charismatic.
