KVV is a "better" footballer for me but Moult's record in big games was absolutely ridiculous. It felt like almost all his goals were against the Old Firm, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs or Accies. 

KVV can undoubtedly do stuff with a ball that Moult probably couldn't even envisage but doing it at away to Ross County or Livi won't live as long in the memory as Moult bulleting it past Aberdeen in that QF or lobbing folk at Hampden.

I'm genuinely getting a bit antsy now. It's pretty rare we sign someone completely out of the blue without any newspaper/forum chat. Doesn't seem likely we announce a striker of any repute at midnight on deadline day and nobody knows about it by now.

I've always thought Obileye was very us- without that being a really good or a bad thing. Although thats maybe just a hangover from the era where we were signing loads of ex-Livi guys.

I know the club have tried to downplay the poverty angle but if Killie can afford to run with Vassell, Stewart and KVV up top while we've got Bair on buttons, a guy on loan from Blackburn + Obika then we must actually be fucked.

Quoting myself is a bit wanky but aye,if they're both offering double then I assume that's about £4-5k p/w rather than the £2-2.5k we'd be offering. In the cold light of day he's probably not worth it to us in a situation where there's 3 teams beneath us.

There's maybe a chance we're all reading a bit too much into KVV's psyche and assuming he'd prefer a hero's return to Fir Park rather than fighting for Europe with Killie or St Mirren. But... it seems absolutely fucking mental if we aren't even matching their offers.
