  1. Winning team on the park = more fans. If we can climb the table and perform more consistently im sure the attendances will improve. Although maybe not as much as they would have in past years. Don't get your hopes up. Our crowds have a minimal increase, hugely down to more kids coming thanks to our incredible offer for kids, despite a major trophy and multiple top four finishes. Fans who have turned their back won't return, they'll just make new excuses. Only way to increase your crowds is to try and attract a younger generation and get them into the habit of going before other activities take a grip.

Definitely, it worries me that he's probably nowhere near the highest spender either.

Love folk like this, £150 real money on packs

Rustled up ~30k coins from selling players/staff/consumables, spunked it all on OTW Vrsaljko for RB. Hopefully gets a special card at some point to make it worth it. 99 contract and ~27k to get him, seems not bad.

Must be dropped a rank overnight so had the choice of 33k coins or two gold packs and a mega pack. Can't improve much for the 33k so went with the packs. Beat I got was the 84 rated Ruffier, got Bellerin and Crisicto too, absolutely shite Only positive is getting Giovinco, who'll be replacing Pjanic once he tires.

How much does Hazard go for? He'd be perfect behind your strikers IMO.

Florenzi will get an IF at some point and be the best option at RB I think. Joao Cancelo the other obvious one. I'd recommend Criscito as a cheap LB too, quality both ways and strong.

Not really tbh, although Belotti bangs headers in from anywhere. Most of my goals come from him peeling off defenders and Pjanic playing him through, my wingers cutting in/Parolo hitting bangers, Pjanic free kicks. Had someone spam big post headers though, bit shite as it feels unstoppable again.
  9. Yes, Tanser is a bit shite, he's literally all we have at left back since Brian Eastons turned into a perma-cripple though.
  10. I wasn't being sarcastic, was just genuinely interested. I think in situations like this banning players from further games against the team they've wronged would genuinely be the best, and fairest, option, and could set a precedent that most leagues would then follow.
  11. Poor Comries looked quite decent against Celtic a few times, but has now vanished from entirely due to the hounding Jones has given him twice. He's literally ended his St Johnstone career.

Lozano is tremendous for that. I start him but always find in the second half he seems to have a better game. He's mental. 4-1 up and he was brought on as a lone striker, scored one from bursting down the centre, then one from getting behind either full back, game ended 4-4, I'd have lost if he'd had another chance, couldn't been touch him. Bonucci and Barzagli at the back and first time I've been worried for them Pjanic been hit and miss for me, seems to depend on the oppositions set up, play him purely for the free kicks though.
  13. Yeah that annoys me too, it's not as if the domes constantly being maintained so why would it suddenly crumble in the 10 years after the apocalypse?

Hamsik was a baller last year tbf, never used sms though. Suspect the physical nature of this years game might see him be a monster, as De Rossi/Parolo/N'Zonzi are all quality for me and he's better than them. Anyone got any recommendations for a left winger? I got eviscerated by someone who brought Lozano on late in a game when my defenders were tired and slowed down, so I'm planning on using Gomez the same way. Kluivert was alright until everyone got quality full backs.
  15. Worth mentioning, at this point, we only recovered from a "decade in the wilderness" by sacking a club legend (John Connolly), and have gone from strength to strength since, after hiring someone who probably hadnt heard of us until he was brought to the club.
  16. 26 wins in your last 100 league games. Deserves more time though, obviously. Based on that you'd win 9 games this season. Only two teams managed less in the Championship last season.
  17. I'm sure he did, and done reasonably well with Stranraer, but that may have been with the help of a decent book keeper tbh. I've no idea how he done tbh, I'm just saft enough to remember managers from old FM games who used to try and wind me up. Football can be oddly cyclical aswell.
  18. Absolutely gutted it's taken until now for this character to appear, match threads last season couldve been tremendous. Genuinely never thought I'd ever see someone wanting a club to suffer so they can help a manager, who's been in charge five years, "learn the ropes" either. Scenes when you appoint Paul Hartley.
  19. Brian Reid's his assistant, did he not replace Aitken at Stranraer?
  20. Foster seemed to be injured. He definitely fucked it though. Can't blame him for Tanser slipping and Callachan not actually marking folk, but Celtic were allowed to build a head of steam after the first thanks to Wotherspoon giving them the ball, and a free run at goal, every three seconds. Something that surprised absolutely nobody, as it's something he's always done when played there. His decision to play Wotherspoon, Alston and Callachan in the middle, and then moaning that nobody in the middle was able to put in a tackle or get near to Celtic players has me seething away inside, don't pick pea hearted shitehawks/Paul Paton if you're wanting folk to be able to physically and technically compete with Celtics midfield, and definitely don't pick those three if you're expecting them to get up and down the park and be solid defensively.
  21. Meh, I don't give a f**k about anyone but Rick, so the inevitably of him leaving and the rest being there's a bit poor. Maggies still a cow, Darryl still does absolutely nothing except look sullen. The fact those two will kill Rick and become main characters has to, finally, be the end of this show, as literally nobody likes them as characters anymore. Zombies still pose zero threat, so it's just an hour of watching them speak to each other, narrowly escape somewhere and maybe see an extra die.
