  1. Next season will be our tenth consecutive season in the top flight. Think we've maybe had such a long run once, in the Willie Ormond era? Lowest finish so far is 8th, 6 top half finishes, 4 of them in the top 4. 5 European qualifications, a Scottish Cup win and a £1m homegrown player. What a decade its been
  2. This. You'd hope we'd start to see real progress with announcing extended contracts/PCAs now.
  3. Not terrible journalism but didn't know where else to post it. You can literally see the irony seeping out your phone, and creating a wee ironic colony, when you read this tweet
  4. Go on to see who scored ICTs winner and get met with a made up player.
  5. WeBuyAnyCar own all the car auction sites in Scotland now, so they pretty much offer you as little as possible as they make raw profit from the trade through auction centres. An utterly vile company who are single handedly killing small businesses by undercutting them all, and then charging extortionate fees through the auction. £6k car is bought by them at £4k, sold at auction for £5k, and they add over £500 "buyers fees". The less people who use them the better. As once they completely control the used car sector along with Arnold Clark, we're all fucked. M135i.... Hard to recommend a car when we're not sure what you're needing? Do you need a five door/petrol/lots of space?
  6. But quite often the last few games of the premiership season are meaningless and so players can be rested. That doesn't compare well with very tough playoff matches, coming thick and fast. How would you change it then?
  7. Thats been an issue at McDiarmid for a whole now. Disappointing the werent professional enough to make sure there was enough.
  8. That's because the top flight has 38 regular games and the seaside leagues have 36. Top flight teams and the Championship side who make the Final play the same amount of games before the Final, and play the same amount of games in the week before the Final. This "advantage" is utterly fictional, and nobody ever makes a genuine suggestion as to how to make it fairer other than "make 11th play in the Semis", which wouldn't work as the top flight teams would then be disadvantaged due to playing more games. Fwiw I'm still not convinced there should be three play off spots. The fact a team can finish mid table and still get promoted is a bit mental. I'd also add a similar system to the Italian one, if a team finishes 15-20+ points ahead of third they should be straight into the Final, if a team finished 15-20+ behind 11th they should be relegated straight out and the Championship clubs battle to see who takes that spot, unless 2nd finishes 15-20+ points ahead of 3rd, in which case they get promoted straight up.
  9. You can have Chris Millar. He's being forced out for whatever reason, is heavily involved in media work so part time would be perfect, and lives in Glasgow. You'd also have @Honest Saints Fan fully convert from Saints to Sons fan aswell.
  10. Tbf Kane is now our main striker, of we play one then it'll be him. I just seen similarities in how they play. Both seem to like to have the first and final touch in a move, if that makes sense. And I wondered, as I say I don't see Dumbarton matches, so wasn't sure if it was the norm or not. I'd seen plenty of chat on here about you maybe struggling to have a full bench so assumed there was a fair whack of injuries. I'd love it if that happened. He's still, stats wise, one of the most clinical strikers in the country, sure one of the twitter pages had him scoring 50% of his chances this season, top scorer Morelos is at 22%. Only worry is you and Stirling end up in the same division. They're virtually our B side now.
  11. Aberdeen fans "Saints are thugs" Saints fans "we regularly pump you at Pittodrie" Aberdeen fans "HAHA Trolled you!"
  12. Saints fans were saying similar about Steven MacLean earlier this season, and it seems an identical situation, in that its more a case of the striker being completely isolated. Think your manager tried to combat that by playing Handling in behind him, but that set up led to ICT having an extra man in the middle and having that advantage slowly dragged them into dominance, especially second half when they upped their tempo. I think the only negative aspect of the play was your left back McLaughlin refusing to go beyond Walsh, which seen multiple moments where Hutton had the ball, Walsh came short with two defenders, and Hutton simply got crowded out. Seemed a perfect chance to get in behind Caleys defence and it was ignored all match. Just my opinion of course, thats the first time I've seen Dumbarton this season.
  13. Hes always been this way, when hes good hes good, when hes bad hes bad. Waste of talent, really.
  14. Hes been at us about five years now, I've no idea why youre trying to tell me what type of player he is
  15. He started on fire, picked up a knock, and has struggled since. We've always sort of needed a player to drag the team through tough spells. Swanson and MOH both obvious ones. Had hoped Wotherspoon could fill that gap as he obviously has the ability to do so, but he just never gets a consistent run of form going.
  16. Cheers for letting us know how he got on, hopefully be a confidence boost for him. He's class when he's happy but when he gets low so does his performances.
  17. Were the goalposts not generic back then? Here's the posts from Ayr..
  18. Dundee United didnt face East Stirling while McAlpine was there. Last time they met before the recent cup game was 1964, McAlpine didn't start playing for them until 1966
  19. Worst episode of the series, still absolutely no idea why Mick was even in the episode. Couldn't enjoy the matches as it was just totally fucking awful stuff, and I can't remember anything that cringeworthy before. Winston deserves his own show, only one who's been funny every episode.
  20. Season 75/76. So might be able to work it out from that? My guess would be away to Ayr. Then again, are there any houses that close to Somerset?
  21. I can see this finally being the year I fail to win either award tbh
  22. Interviews being conducted with the camera focused solely on the interviewers six pack would certainly be different
