  1. I wonder if McKenzie playing the 90 minutes for Killie signifies anything
  2. Worth remembering Livingston got £25k for selling Mullen this month.
  3. I do. I have absolutely no idea what ends meant to the "Rangers/Celtic" end.
  4. Yes, there's nobody in Scotland signing him regardless of whether that rumour is true or not, though.
  5. He's rumoured to be on more than double what Swanson is, so that'll be over £5kpw.
  6. This isn't me slagging St Mirren in the slightest, but how many changes do you think you'll need/expect to make in the Summer if/when you're promoted? There seems a fair chunk of players that to an outsider can be considered "key", like Samson, McShane, Smith and Reilly who have been out of their depth in the top flight before.
  7. Do you reckon Stokes staying impacts on Swanson? Can't see you getting rid of both. Its maybe coincidence but not long after the Stokes story broke we've started to be linked with Scott Wright on loan.
  8. Wonder if this "breaking news" that Hibs are wanting to punt Stokes means Swanson is now no longer available?
  9. You've missed the only major stadium in Tayside without four full stands..
  10. One of the 8 million "Scottish football bloggers" who've cropped up lately reckons we're going backwards by going after Swanson, and signing Lawrence Shankland would be a much better move.
  11. I don't think it was particularly rare for players to score rakes back then. Literally every clubs record goalscorer comes from those decades.
  12. I was about ten when he played at Old Trafford, so I'm maybe over remembering his performance, but I remember him rag dolling the defence all game, never giving the ball away and then smashing it in every time he shot. Not many folk scored hat tricks at Old Trafford. I'm fairly sure it was the 2002 WC that he ran riot in too. But aye, he was clearly on the decline by then, looking back. I like Messi and all, and it's enjoyable seeing him dance through eleven folk, but if you watch Ronaldo at Barca you get all that plus this explosive power. I'm always going to be biased towards him.
  13. The original Ronaldo was a genuine force of nature. Messi lacks power, Cristiano Ronaldo lacks guile, Ronaldo seemed to have it all. It's a fact he came nowhere near to his potential, yet his career is still up there. The night he obliterated Man U at Old Trafford is the best individual performance I've ever seen. I'm not sure comparing goals record from folk in the 70s/80s, and earlier, is too great an idea though. It's a different sport now.
  14. Mark Reynolds wasn't playing for Aberdeen before McKenna even returned. I'd suggest you improve your trolling.
  15. Bennett forgetting when Rangers ran to the papers about how we were "holding them to ransom" by asking for over £100k when they wanted O'Halloran, I assume.
  16. You're speaking as if Dundee rinsing Saints at Christmas isn't an annual event.
