Simms wouldn't have had anything like the same impact at Aberdeen as he has had at Hearts. Our whole team has been ineffective or underperformed whereas Hearts have had players performing to a fairly high standard right through their team
Do I think we wouldn't have lost so many games so easily if McInnes was still manager? - Yes
Am I wishing he was still Aberdeen manager? - No
His time was up. The most important thing was to replace him with an experienced manager with a reputation of playing entertaining, attacking football.
Sadly our chairman chose an inexperienced and out of his depth manager and it has left us in a situation where if we get relegated we will have brought it on ourselves
I think we may well be challenging for 1st or 2nd next season. It depends if we pip Dundee, Raith, Inverness, Morton, Partick or Dunfermline as at the moment I wouldn't be at all surprised if we were relegated
With so many clubs tightly bunched between 4th and 10th VAR decisions could have helped or hindered all of the teams so I get why the Livingston guy was moaning.
Just win today Dons FFS.
Found it intriguing that Cormack said that Darren Mowbray had been watching 3 games in Slovakia and Theo Snelders had had a Dutch player in his house to chat about Aberdeen.
Clearly trying to identify a few more who like Besuijen have potential.

Clearly one of the world's top clubs showing interest is bound to turn Calvin's head?
Shades of 2008? Possible final but lose like they did to Zenit St Petersburg? West Ham have nothing to fear from any of the teams left.
Celtic probably happy it went to extra time as that will surely have taken a lot out of Rangers tonight.
McKenzie can go. Bates needs to improve his concentration but you can tell there is a player in there. Agree on Gallagher, Ramsay, Barron and Besuijen. I would also keep Ferguson (if he didn't want to leave), Hayes and McCrorie
To be fair County's main objective after 10 games would have been to stay in the league so anything else was probably a bonus for them.
As for ourselves that was a shameful performance.
Nope as we will probably have to go to Easter Road again and lose.
I really do now think it's between ourselves and St Mirren for 11th. I really can't see where a win is coming from.
The players don't seem to respect Goodwin with a number of them (Ferguson and Ramirez especially so today) going through the motions and subbing McCrorie and Watkins for MacKenzie and McLennan was absolutely idiotic management.
I am now seriously worried we might be relegated.
Yes he should never had been given a new contract last summer.
Hearing we are interested in Oisin McEntee from Newcastle as Devlin's replacement. He's currently on loan at Morton which should lead to a meltdown of "is this the best we can attract" when clearly he would be back up to Bates and Gallagher.
