  1. Don't know if it's been covered before, but is the commentator in the Newcastle-Southampton game the guy that used to do the SPFL highlights on youtube?
  2. August 2037 Bit of a baptism of fire for the season with games against two of last season's top four, but we've came through it pretty well, and hopefully this is a barometer of how the rest of the season will go. Pleasing to see a couple of goals for new players as welll, and Oblak has assisted all bar one of my goals so far, so that's encouraging. Dropped points already for all of the title challengers. Obviously it's much too early to read anything into this.
  3. Transfer Window - 2037/38 Starting with my extensive list of outgoings. For some reason, there was an absolutely huge amount of utter dross hanging around the club, too old for the youth team and not good enough for the first team, so I punted the lot of them. Also sent two guys out on loan, Coleman is pretty good and might be useful next season (assuming I'm still here). Lluca probably won't, but I'm not quite ready to give up on him yet so will see how he does on loan. Anyway, onto the incoming players... Genuinely, very pleased with all of them. We'll start with Richard Claridge, who I'm going to shoehorn into every team I can. His attributes aren't that great, but I know what he can do, and I trust him. I know that sounds weird to say about a regen in a computer game, but still. Think being full time for the first time in his career will help him develop too, and he's got a minimum fee release clause for future use should it be needed. Next up, Fahri Cerkini. He's a pretty good player to have, will play a fair bit in centre midfield, and he also provides some cover for right wing, which was a position I struggled with last season. My most expensive signing, though he's certainly not the best, I'm pleased with him. Indrit Koci joins on a free to be one of my main centre midfielders. He's a good technical player, and should do the job for me. Very fit as well, which is always nice. Davide Leone is a centre half, and I'm delighted to get him. I tried to sign him last season, but he said no and went on loan to Balkani instead, but he's a defender who can actually defend, a fucking rarity in my squad. Hopefully I can stick him beside one of my two who are decent on the ball, and they'll balance each other out into a competent defence. Dejan Oblak is, by an absolute mile, the pick of the bunch. He's quick, outstanding technically, and has a bit of flair. I expect big things from him, and, as with Claridge, I will be trying to bring him with me when I'm done in Kosovo. Last, but not least, we have striker Predrag Zivanovic on loan from Montenegrin side Buducnost for the season. His finishing is really poor, but apart from that he has everything to excel as a striker for me, and I've seen guys with finishing far worse than his score plenty this save, so high hopes. I had him on trial, but he rejected my contract offer so pleasing to get him on loan.
  4. Europa Conference League 2037/38 - First Qualifying Round, Second Leg
  5. Europa Conference League 2037/38 - First Qualifying Round, First Leg Early start to the competitive season for us, and we face Montenegrin side Iskra Daniolvgrad. While at the start of the save, Kosovo was rated a better league, as things stand in game Montenegro have the 34th best league in Europe, while Kosovo are 45th, so it'll be a tough game. Not helping is the fact that our transfer window doesn't open until the 1st of August, this game is at the start of July so I'm still playing with last season's squad, minus a few guys who left, and none of the players I'm trying to bring in. Still, we'll see how it goes.
  6. I think it’s because using the concussion sub means the other team get an extra normal substitution to use as well, so if you’d all 3 subs left then you may not want to give the other team a fourth sub? It wasn’t entirely clear though.
  7. May 2037 Two wins to see out the season - that's nice. Did our job, so just need to see what everyone else did in terms of finishing position... Prishtina drew against Drita last day to let us in to second place, so that's good. In any case, I know what I need to improve on next season - my record against the other title challengers is really poor. Swat everyone else aside with ease, but so do the others mostly. Still, second and a cup semi is a good first season. Onwards and upwards...
  8. Think he also ran/runs some sort of chippy, but a more upmarket version. I seem to recall he got into some bother for claiming his juices cured cancer or something like that?
  9. I had a look at the Family Party’s policies on their website, and it includes this sentence: I think we can safely ignore them. The whole thing has major “taking the divorce badly” vibes.
  10. April 2037 That's our season fizzled out to f**k all. Out of the cup and the leagues done too, so we're just seeing which of 2nd, 3rd or 4th we're going to finish. Fernoikeli play Trepca on the final day, so I'm optimistic that we'll finish ahead of them, at least. As above, just about trying to secure 2nd or 3rd now.
  11. March 2037 That loss against Prishtina will be the one that costs us, IMO. Gives us an absolute mountain to climb, and with Trepca having lost just once all season, it's not going to happen. Took out our frustrations on Drita though, which is nice. Aye, 6 points behind with 4 games to go. There's always next season.
  12. Someone else will probably know better than me, but surely footballers are on, essentially, fixed term contracts, so I would have thought those need a specified end date. I wouldn’t have thought you can just put “the end of the 20/21 season” as that would lead to disputes about when exactly the season ended, surely?
  13. February 2037 I didn't lose to Trepca, so that's good as a loss would have all but ended my title challenge. Not winning once against them this season makes it difficult, but we've given ourselves a chance. Into the cup semi final too, and Ajili's goal against Besa was from his own half - first time I've seen that in this FM. Only 2 games in March - Prishtina and Drita. We're probably needing 6 points.
  14. January 2037 Perfect month, for the first time. Again, I expect to beat these teams, it's the other good sides I'm struggling against. Back up, and the gap cut to 3 points. We've got Trepca next, then the quarter final of the cup, so could be a big month.
  15. December 2036 We were absolutely appalling against Prishtina. I think we had our first shot in the 91st minute or something like that, just a dire effort all round. We also missed an 85th minute penalty against Feronikeli, which would have been useful to score, so that was fun. At least we're all but through in the cup, and continue to be flat track bullies beating all the sides outwith the top 4 fairly comfortably. Only managed one win in six against the other top 4 sides though, so need to find a way to change that. We've dropped down to third and five points off top, but with 11 games to go there's still a chance there.
  16. Can we not just enjoy it while he’s gone? He’ll be back soon enough, aggressively demanding to know which posters like sucking cock.
  17. November 2036 Another good month, albeit only one game of that lot I wouldn't be expecting to win - the one we drew. Still, comfortable in the cup, and we came back well against Besa. Needing a last minute winner against Balkani wasn't great, but at least we got it. Still in second, and we're now to within two points of top. I've gotten ridiculously lucky with my last couple of jobs and winning a title straight away, so maybe that'll continue? That's the dream anyway.
  18. He's fucking at it again. Robbie Savage is such a fanny.
  19. Lovely stuff from Martial there. And McTominay as well
  20. Some effort to do that a minute in to your first start
  21. Well, that’s me fully on board with the idea.
  22. Get it right up her. Hope she’s fucking miserable.
  23. Nah, Perthshire bell sometimes posts something worth reading (usually something about cyclists/the Kia Ceed) whereas Pep is an absolute abomination of a poster with nothing to contribute.
  24. That's an absolutely lovely goal. Some ball from Shaqiri.
