    Aye it’s a pretty decent deal all in, especially given that Fitzpatrick isn’t a completely integral part of our team in the way Lindsay was. Hopefully we’ve known this was happening for a while and Caldwell has some options for a replacement in mind.

    Yes. If you can create opportunities, he’ll score goals. His first touch is outrageously good. Take care of him.

    I wouldn’t mind Miller. I don’t think he’s great, but he seems to be a good professional and could be a good player for Mansell and whoever else we sign to learn from, as he has previously played at a very high level. I wouldn’t want us throwing a lot of money at him though.

    There’s one at a team called Penistone Church, who’re tier 9 and scored 27 goals last season at that level. Would imagine it’s him.

    From what I recall, he’s a full back (not sure which side) who tries really hard, is decent enough going forward but can’t defend at all. Would expect him to be back up to Penrice/Williamson.

    I quite like the sleeve thing, another wee nod to the pride theme. Big fan of the away kit generally. As above, home is nice but slightly too Albion Rovers. That’s two season running that Joma have managed decent enough kits for us, which is a remarkable feat for them.

    Maybe not, but it is an indigenous language of Scotland. I believe efforts should be made to promote and protect indigenous languages which are under threat, especially when the method to do so requires literally no effort and inconveniences no one. Do you disagree?

    If the phrase “unelected European beaurocrats” isn’t used heavily when apportioning blame by the gammon brigade, I’ll be absolutely fucking stunned. Coincidentally, I’ve always loved use of the phrase by people who think nothing of the UK having the House of Lords and an actual fucking monarchy in it.
