They’ve been an extremely popular trainer among girls for years as Meghan and Kate have been seen wearing them. I think my gf has three pairs in varying colours of ‘V’. Amusingly I’ve been told that the Adidas Samba is the new ‘in’ shoe for girls this summer, despite it being the traditional realm of the Scottish Da for decades. Spotted my sister rocking a pair of Spezials the other day which was also a bit bizarre to see.

As the (non Samba owning) Scottish Da’ of a teenage lassie, it’s the other version of Samba’s they’re all wearing, not the Da’ version.

Stopped off at Ness' ground a couple of years back on the way to the lighthouse. Unfortunately no game was on though.

Sweeny seems like a great guy, remember him showing Romesh Ranganathan around the island.

Played against their Senior team last summer. Sweeney gave them a penalty for handball when the ball hit me in the fucking face 🤦🏻‍♂️😆

I think this yoda guy is a united plant to cause ill feeling towards the other Boness club.

How are they 'parasites' ? If you don't want them play in your ground, put them out?

Unless the ground doesn't belong to to you then they have every right to play there?

What REALLY surprises me is how the two clubs are not one? And going by the comments of a certain few here the bitterness and jealousy is from one committee

I think you’re an irrelevant oddball.

What a bizarre claim. All these nicknames and usernames on here abd you can identify folk who might be committee members?

The last few games have seen a more consistent team selection

Better performances and better results. Now this could just be a coincidence but….

Aww diddums - are you raging?

Sticks and stones, your personal attacks don't bother me, I'm an adult afterall I can take it, without resorting to stalking posts with Red Dots.

Well you sure fooled everyone there. Well done.

Jambo, these “fans” have never once said anything positive about the club,  players or manager. Everyone knows we are working on a very tight budget and will cut our cloth accordingly so the negative attitude would suggest an alternative motive.

The club and players have never been the problem this season. Well, other than some silly avoidable player suspensions.

    What are you suggesting?

I support the team but I do not believe that just because a player wears a blue jersey doesn’t mean he is any good,or beyond criticism.

I have no hidden agenda or anything of the sort ,so please refrain from even suggesting such nonsense.

It should not take money to win the Lowland league although I appreciate it helps.Better recruitment and coaching is surely possible even on a tight budget.

As I have previously said Bo’ness United have never been awash with money.Success has previously been achieved with good players. The reality is there are not enough in the current squad and resigning most of what is there is simply asking for more under achievement next season.

This happy clappy way of watching a team is simply sticking your head in the sand thinking that average players are going to improve. They won’t Just because they may be great guys to talk to etc.is not what it’s about.Give me 11 arseholes who produce better football  performances than have been witnessed the past two seasons any day of the week .
This is where a good man manager becomes invaluable.

Again, the players have never really been the problem this season. The recruitment wasn’t even the issue. It was the constant and often needless tinkering with the team. I don’t think it’s at all wild to suggest that the lack of continuity in the starting 11 is directly linked to the lack of consistency in performances and points.

The big side in Bo'ness aren't backwards at promoting themselves on social media etc.

Clear which team is progressing and which one regressing.

    Tick Tock.

Tick tock, much like your ticker.

Mind when you walked away from your team Auld Gravy Blood? You’re a laughing stock. Stick to throwing your considerable weight around your own team’s (when it suits) thread.

Was he not scraping with someone in the dugout whilst on a suspension? That was ages ago though! Was silly but 12 matches sounds a bit extreme

Turns out the ref who sent him off at Caley Braves “feared for his safety” so sounds like he’s possibly been issued multiple red cards or the compliance officer has been involved.

Darby's really starting to grow on me.  Still feel like he'd be the sort of guy you'd absolutely not want to spend any extended period of time with, but he's really believable in this role.  And maybe it gets him into a position where his wish to kill himself in a wrestling ring actually means more than a throwaway match on Dynamite.  I don't think any of the three are going to take the title off MJF, but if it's going to be one of them, it absolutely should be Allin.  Guavara is a fucking gimp, and I just don't think Jungle Boy is there yet.

These women's matches are getting awfully tedious aren't they?  Some combination of good gals vs Saraya/Storm/Soho, 5 minute match, heels use shenanigans to win, Saraya gets out the paint to do the Mean Girls bit, run-in from Hayter, run-in from anyone else that fancies it, and scene.  Really don't seem like they can be at all arsed with it all.

Even worse when it big Jade Cargill on Rampage. She is fucking awful.

Still surprised WWE haven’t done a Wembley show yet.

They filled old Wembley for Summerslam 92 back in wrestling’s heyday. WWE are happy to live off that era and will be happy to live off that Wembley 92 show without tainting it with a half sold effort 30-odd years later.

AEW at Wembley is a fucking helluva ballsy move though. There’s simply no denying Tony Khan has one enormous mighty set of plums. But then he’s got a stupid level of wealth that could absorb the hit if this runs at a loss.

The pop Jericho is going to get from the UK crowd will be massive, although sadly 50% of the hype will be the opportunity for a massive Wembley rendition of “Judas”.

    Jay White returning - Yaaawn.

Commentary saying he’s “the most exciting free agent in pro wrestling right now!” and hyping him like he’s an exciting newbie. Piss off. He was in AEW for a few months just last year, was boring then and will be boring again.  “Switchblade” is a crap name too.

MJF is absolute gold! 😄 Also loving the fact AEW are breaking the mould and giving all these younger, smaller guys a push for a shot at the world heavyweight title at once. Think it’d be cool if Hook were thrown into the equation too just to have this growing list of hungry young hotheads going after MJF and the title belt.

I bet boness thought the same and they've no been near it. It's a lot different beating teams in one off cup games than a 36 game league season.

That’s not a strong argument that though for the point you’re trying to make. The Bo’ness squad that started the season was more than capable of competing at the top end of the LL. Unfortunately one man’s constant needless tinkering plus some utterly baffling selections and tactics ensured that those hopes were down the pan fairly swiftly.

Of course he could. I’d argue a lot of our team could. I’m just not sure he’s quite at the Nathan Austin/Kelty level just yet.

Stow is obviously a talent but what level folk think he could play it is all just conjecture and based on what he does for the Rose now. Any perceived strengths and weaknesses just now might be completely irrelevant at a higher level where a bigger club, better coach and better team mates might play to and develop his strengths further.

I always hark back to Scott Pitmann when these kind of conversations crop up. Stood out like a sore thumb in the juniors but certainly wasn’t without his doubters that he’d be able to cut it making the jump all the way from Juniors to the then Championship.

Was quite impressed with Dylan when I saw him play at the start of the season. Just a shame he suffered with the injury that saw him fall out of favour.

Jack Smith well the less said about that the better.

I’m having a complete blank and despite knowing the name I can’t even picture who Jack Smith is or what position he played. 🤔🤯

Coming at this from a different angle - what are some of the worst strips we’ve had? The tartan one with the stupid white sleeves from 5 or so years ago has to be up there.

Whilst not actual strips, those 90s “leisure shirts” that everyone thought were away, third, training kits at the time were awful. As was being reminded how awful they were more recently by an abundance of far east repro versions on the backs of neds at the Euros.

At least our promotion would give the Wee Bo'ness a decent attendance.

As going by current attendances most of the Wee Bo'ness supporters seem to now follow Linlithgow Thistle / Bo'ness Athletic.

Beith and Creetown who currently lead WoS and SoS aren't licensed so neither eligible for promotion to LL.

More clueless fantasist garbage from Auld Gravy-blood.
