Fixtures a bit skewed because the sectional league cup group is so competitive.
Although I agree with you, my point still stands. Or are you saying it's going to be easy for Talbot?
Just looking at the fixtures there. By way of illustration of how competitive this season will be for Talbot, the first six matches are Glenafton, Darvel, Hurlford, Glenafton, KIlwinning and Beith.
Some start!
Obviously, The Arts spring to mind. Both have demonstrated the pen is mightier than the sword. Darius lyricising poetically and Spank immortalising key Junior figures on lined A4
Are we to assume that he revealed the contents of the envelope to the players? Based on the previous efforts, I envisage everyone sitting as a group waiting for the reveal, only to say "but Rod Stewart, Michael Barrymore and Val Kilmer aren't even Scottish"
Are there any more signings to come, do you know, or is that the squad settled?
I agree about the top. Always thought the stripes shouldn't be tampered with too much but this is a stylish tweak. I think this season will be a real test for the club after such a successful season last year. Everyone always wants to beat the Talbot but no more so than now, I reckon.
Talked about by a senior committee man from the little club in question? Doesn't really say anything.
DL is excited about the new team and set up at Darvel and fair play to him. I was going to say it's off season so that's why he's on here making big claims, but tbh he does that when Darvel draw three games in a row. so maybe no'.
All will be revealed whne the season gets underway. Having worked beside DL years ago though, I know he will be absolutely loving all the dafties getting annoyed at the things he writes though. You all play in to his hands!
The few times I watched Sean McIlroy play I felt he was off the pace and lacked confidence which was probably why he came off the bench so regularly. He undoubtedly has an eye for goal and is a smashing guy who always seems to be smiling. I’m glad he has made a move to, hopefully, first team football. Good luck Sean
I don't know Mr Sloan personally but the man is a stunning example of the craftsmanship of team leadership. Conducts himself properly and cares about every match it seems. Talbot has, and has had, it's fair share of heroes but, for me, Tucker is at the top of that list.
