  1. http://club1872.co.uk/news/club-1872-statement-on-neil-lennon/

I find this rather confusing, CLUB1872? Is this any of the following -23px-Flag_of_Scotland.svg.png Scotland Dumbarton Rangers (ceased 2012) Renton (ceased 1922) Third Lanark AC (ceased 1967) (clubs formed that year)h

What gives this bunch of outdated and obsolete individuals the right to pass judgement of a team manager who, as a player was hated to the highest degree by them when they actually had a team that met the criteria of their name?

Are visiting managers to stand in their respective technical area and dig their hands deep in their pockets should their team score?

Sounds very much a case of sour grapes by a bunch of diddy fans supporting a team no longer in existance

  2. 4 hours ago, The DA said:

The bit that stands out in that article, and I use the word 'article' loosely, is 'Hopefully, there have been a lot of lessons learned by coming through it.'

Can Milne give us a list of those lessons?  Have any rules changes been put in place to stop this happening again?

    Of course there are lessons;-

    1. Spend as much as you don't have, but hide it as a loan

    2. Bury your head in the sand, or up the SFA's @rse

    3. Tell yourself in the mirror at every chance it's all legal.

    4. Declare yourself bankrupt.

    5. Keep the glory you cheated to get, stick your head even further up the SFA's @rse until only the studs on the boots are showing

    6. Get the Daily Ranger on your side, the r bigoted blinkered fans who all believe nothing happened.

    7. Show your prowess against Luxemburg's finest

    8. Believe Rangers FC 1872(RIP) are the same team as Rangers International FC 2012 are the same team (when it suits the situation)

    9. We are the boys from Ayebrokes.

Can't believe you didn't know this!!!

  3. The great thing about the current manifestation from Ayebrokes is the number of identities held.

    1. We've won the league blah blah blah times, which in fact was Glasgow Rangers, and not Sevco FC, where you should read 2nd and 1st Division Champions.

    2. We've won the league Cup blah blah blah times, which in fact was Glasgow Rangers, and not Sevco FC, where you should read runners up in the Pontifact Cup.

    3. We've won the Scottish Cup blah blah blah times, which in fact was Glasgow Rangers, and not Sevco FC, where you should read still trying.

    4. We owe the taxman £70+ million, but that was Glasgow Rangers and not Sevco FC.

So what identity are you today? Seems to be it depends what way the wind is blowing.

And earlier in here someone asked if we believe stats coming from the SPFL concerning this precious club (to them that is). Of course we don't, isn't it basically the same clowns that couldn't run 12 teams when they were in charge of the closed shop that was the SPL? They couldn't realistically run 12 so why would or should we trust them with 42? Must be something to do with the contortionists they have employed since the SPL and the SFA merged, they have bent and twisted every which way and more to try get the beloved Govan boys, in whatever guise they choose, wind allowing, back in the top flight at any cost.

And they wonder why they are so disliked and hated by almost one and all!

  4. The so called Livingston embargo was as big a load of rubbish as was Sevco being allowed back into the leagues, not pay their tax bill and retain the deceased clubs trophy and league awards.

What is the point of posing a transfer embargo from Jan until Jun when the only players available are those not currently signed or loaned from another club.

If a transfer embargo is in place, then that team should not be allowed anywhere near target players or be allowed to field potential signing targets as trialists. Otherwise is is merely a bending of the rules, and that would never bhappen in Scotland, now would it?
