It's frustrating...and I speak as an SNP member.....that at the most important point in UK politics in 2 generations, and with the most incompetent government in history at the helm, the SNP are becoming ever more embroiled in some kind of internal bickering involving an ex-leader.

For Unionists, nothing can surely be more satisfying than watching the enormous ego of Alex Salmond potentially help to dis-rail a 2nd independence referendum.

For the greater good, Salmond needs to take a back seat, shut the f*ck up, and sit quietly until the outcome of a police investigation is known. It seems that he's incapable of that though.

Is that proper generations or Sturgeons 5 year generation? The Indie ref vote of 2014 was a once in a generation opportunity, those of us with brains realised it was 2014 and not 1314 voted sensibly, and Scotland remains part of the UK.

Just because people north of the border voted against Brexit doesn't mean Scotland (not an independent country, but still part of the UK) has the right to a new referendum just because someone made Sturgeon spit her dummy out because she can't see Scottish votes as regional rather than national votes.

I kinda think I can work out what you’re saying but (if I’m right) a top class striker scores in games which decide trophies and championships. Tbf to morelos he can score in europe which Fatty Boyd could never do  (in addition to his woeful record against Celtic).

A top class striker scores goals for fun, not measured against one team

He is speaking in the context of a Rangers fan, ie a thicko breed who define themselves completely using the other cheek as a yardstick.

He is absolutely correct in what he says. The average Rangers fan cares about nothing except Celtic and vice versa.

Isn't looking for an average The Rangers fan like looking for 3 wise men in Govan?

  4. It turns out that goals against any of the other 40 league teams other than Celtic, according to Super Ally.

Morelos is yet to score a goal against Celtic, and club legend Ally McCoist feels he needs to step up his efforts.

Speaking after the match he said: "If you want to be a top-class Rangers striker you need to score against Celtic."

Just as big a fanny as a pundit as he was as a manager

  5. Congratulations on another decent win today.  It is just passed a 1/4 of the season and lets see where we all are come May.

I would dearly like yourselves and us to stay up at the expense of one of the so called 'Big Boys' after being written off by almost everyone bar those who actually know the teams.

    Onwards and upwards...

. McDonald kept Alloa in it. You had a whole 3 shots on target to our 9 (and that doesn't include Paton hitting wide where it was a stick-on goal if he gets it on target).

Agree, our Keeper was deffo MotM, but which team were the most wasteful?

2 goals from 3 shots or 2 from 9 shots?

I totally understand the economic argument for additional income but the League Authorities should have redistributed income to ensure that clubs like QOS and countless others didn’t need to ruin football as a spectacle by allowing the precedent to be firmly established. These surfaces are multiplying at an alarming rate. Fortunately of our away games only the trip to Alloa is on artificial but it doesn’t bear thinking about - ridiculously narrow pitch on a horrific surface. You couldn’t make it up.

We have widened the pitch from the start of the league. A good way to be cost effective is become the 3rd p/t in the championship.

Its not a normal situation though, with a new manager coming in after most of the squad was signed up. Stirling was a Goodwin signing, and the player himself even stated his main reason for joining was to work with Jim. That in itself was probably a risk to both parties- even if he hadnt joined St Mirren it was utterly inevitable Goodwin was never going to last the season at Alloa.
Hes a good player, I thought he had plenty to offer. But if the manager doesnt fancy the player or vice versa- its a frequent occurrence in football and we move on.

Breaking News New CD for next home game

New CD, but is it the same old songs?

  9. I feel that the club is no longer a 'community club' but a cash cow.

If the club were to be a bit more 'fan friendly' by being realistic about cup games against teams from lower leagues, maybe a few more fans would turn up for league games. It just feels that the rules are rules, not to be interpreted just implied and those who were thinking they may make the effort have been frightened off.

It's a real sad day when a derby against the Albion is boycotted because our forward looking board have been blinded by greed.
