Definitely. And he should start in centre midfield. I'll give Barry F the benefit of the doubt and assume Robbo was on the bench because he's been out injured for a few games.
Or the man is as clueless as he seems.
Chocolate tea pots and fireguards springs to mind.

I cannot believe Mendy has been given a gig with an SPFL club. At Kelty he got by with someone (Tam Scobie) directing his every move. He can’t think for himself in football terms.
Adding Durban to that mix will result in a shambles
I'm sure BF knows what he is doing.
No one else does

Totally agree mate, apologies for overstepping the mark.
I think some are going a bit over the top, but when we look at the last 3 similar "rebuilds", Jack Rosses side fired out the traps brilliantly, Hartleys took a wee bit of time but at least we showed bucketloads of promise early on. Think we are haunted by the disastrous Lennon one and can see elements of potentially history repeating itself.
We've certainly been spoiled a lot in the last 10 years- I know that's probably become a cliche by now though. We don't have any divine right to be challenging up the top this season and may well have a season of transition or a nightmare one .
I have no problems whatever division we are in, we are a team that has been punching above our weight, probably too good for Div 1but not really good enough for the Championship.
My concern really is we are a community club and most of our previous managers have been quite honest, open and approachable to the fans.
I'm not sure if BF sees himself as bigger than the club, buy IMHO he hasn't done anything)much to connect with the fans, and until this happens, I will be " on his case ". But I'm sure he won't lose many nights sleep because of this.

Like most, I think we had reasonable performances against Livingston and Raith, but performances against teams more at our level have given little encouragement so far.
However, surely we have to give a guy more than 5 games, 4 of which we're essentially pre season games, before throwing in the towel. You're almost trolling after everything adverse and it is indeed a bit tiring.
Nah, showing something against a higher level team is encouraging, but it's the bread and butter stuff that'll get us promoted.
I'm gutted to be labeled a troll, just a supporter that says what he sees, and so far BF has shown very little, and apparently isn't kean to do interviews.
I never throw in the towel concerning Alloa, been supporting then through 50+ years including poor managers and horrendous times.
I give credit where credit is due, so BF to me is a work in progress.

Pretty much spot on, and for all laughing gravies bluster is a bit tiring it did feel like much of the away days under Maitland.
Tiring, but true

I heard a rumour we have one, but that's it as far as it goes.
Maybe if we had a radio....
I bet he doesn't have the bottle to have a Q&A session with the fans.

Aye we may not see many victories this season so always good to turn up for one.
I'd settle for a goal. It's that bad and it's only day 1

After one half of a game with a depleted squad and we are already down ? you are not the half full cup type are you ?
Two nil now.
If we have a depleted squad, is this not the Invisible Man(ager)s responsibility to have a decent squad for the start of the season?
I'm just a realist who says what he sees. Thus far, hee haw

It's looking like this season is going to last more than a lifetime.
Just looked at the stats for the game and it's looking like back to the days pre Paul Hartley.
We may well be in the play-offs this season, but to avoid dropping like Brechin.
Wonder if the prices will drop when we play the likes of Cambuslang and Boness?

Overheard Barry saying he's after a couple of centre halves, an experienced keeper and a striker with a one goal every fifteen games scoring record. It's important to have competition, he said.
You must be very privileged if you got not do much s sight of Barry, but got close enough to hear him talk
Maybe he can only talk when he's on the radio?

I'm already feeling no more confident with that piece of news

To nobody's surprise, it's apparently not looking too good for us. Even the optimists in our support seem to be falling back on, "well, we've been shit at the start of prior seasons where things turned out alright".
It looks like we might still be on Championship form this year; struggling badly for goals, and relying on our defence to keep things tight.
Our defence couldn't handle Stennie, Cowden or the Brech.

Here I go before I see a League game
1 Falkirk
2 Airdrie
3 Alloa
4 Queens Park
5 Cove Rangers
6 Montrose
7 Peterhead
8 East Fife
9 Clyde
10umbarton
But it could be anyone in top 4 from 6 up. Will I jinx Falkirk again?
Feel free. I can't see us fighting for anything other than Div 1 survival unless we sign Harry Potter

Take a day off mate
I am merely stating it as I see it.
We're shit against lower opposition and the SAS have up trying to get a quote from the manager, or any club officials that doesn't want us to part with money

Still can’t get my head round this. The young boy coped more than well in the championship against some good teams and has been shipped out when I personally think he’s miles ahead of who we’re playing at the moment.
Obviously not a washed out first division dud, do not going to fit into the headless direction we are heading.
It may only be the League Cup, but we shouldn't be getting beaten by lower league teams, let alone Highland League teams.
