weetoonlad explaining the situation to a bunch of paranoid, halfwit Arbroath fans is truly a meeting of minds.

But anyway, hopefully all the injured players are back for the rescheduled fixture and we can, ahem, pump Arbroath.

Hope we make abetter job than we did of pumping the water off the pitch :)

Did we loan Spence? I thought signed for us. He actually looked a real threat when he came on against Inverness last week but was unused against Morton, i think he will be on his way but could be looking at league 2 club due to his lack of goals.

I'm sure he went on loan last season and was released and you signed him

Trying to think of any little subgroups who's answer to "should there be a referendum?" would differ from actual voting intention:

    - Unionists who believe that Scotland has the right to self-determination but are ultimately better off in the union (See some comments from SLab talking heads this week)

    - Nationalists who don't think yes can win just yet and are waiting for some unspecified future date (can't be many of these left now)

    - Unionists who want a referendum to truly kill the issue off for a generation

Ultimately though I'd expect 90%+ correlation between people's answers to the two questions. Those who want a referendum will vote Yes if there is one, and those arguing against one would vote No.

Well we'd only have to wait another 5 years, if the ugliest woman in politics constantly defines GENERATION

Cannot see how Scots that vote for unionist parties can be proud to be honest.  Why are they proud of Westminster having control over their own country Scotland?

A vote for any unionist party is a vote for English nationalism.

Have I just woke up and it's really 1319?

You'd want the Brussels crooks over Westminster crooks?

    Aye, true independence

How long is a "proper generation" m8?

The tories called this general election a "once in a generation opportunity". So presumably they're going to prevent any futher general elections for the next 100 years?

Also, if you can find the legal document that states "once in a generation" regarding Scottish referendums, then i'll be interested to see it. Thanks m8.

Firstly, I can use English and not text talk, being able to distinguish the difference between a phone and a laptop.

In developed nations the average generation length is in the high 20's and has even reached 30 years in some nation so I have no idea where you plucked 100 years from, a lucky bag perhaps?

Can't find the any documentation backing up this, but here is the ugliest woman in politics lending a hand.

General Elections are usually supposed to happen every 5 years. How many have we had since the last referendum?

In the USA their President is in office for 4 years, they have a written constitution.

The UK does not have a written constitution and our Pm can be in office no more than 5 years.

It's frustrating...and I speak as an SNP member.....that at the most important point in UK politics in 2 generations, and with the most incompetent government in history at the helm, the SNP are becoming ever more embroiled in some kind of internal bickering involving an ex-leader.

For Unionists, nothing can surely be more satisfying than watching the enormous ego of Alex Salmond potentially help to dis-rail a 2nd independence referendum.

For the greater good, Salmond needs to take a back seat, shut the f*ck up, and sit quietly until the outcome of a police investigation is known. It seems that he's incapable of that though.

Is that proper generations or Sturgeons 5 year generation? The Indie ref vote of 2014 was a once in a generation opportunity, those of us with brains realised it was 2014 and not 1314 voted sensibly, and Scotland remains part of the UK.

Just because people north of the border voted against Brexit doesn't mean Scotland (not an independent country, but still part of the UK) has the right to a new referendum just because someone made Sturgeon spit her dummy out because she can't see Scottish votes as regional rather than national votes.

I kinda think I can work out what you’re saying but (if I’m right) a top class striker scores in games which decide trophies and championships. Tbf to morelos he can score in europe which Fatty Boyd could never do  (in addition to his woeful record against Celtic).

A top class striker scores goals for fun, not measured against one team

He is speaking in the context of a Rangers fan, ie a thicko breed who define themselves completely using the other cheek as a yardstick.

He is absolutely correct in what he says. The average Rangers fan cares about nothing except Celtic and vice versa.

Isn't looking for an average The Rangers fan like looking for 3 wise men in Govan?

  10. It turns out that goals against any of the other 40 league teams other than Celtic, according to Super Ally.

Morelos is yet to score a goal against Celtic, and club legend Ally McCoist feels he needs to step up his efforts.

Speaking after the match he said: "If you want to be a top-class Rangers striker you need to score against Celtic."

Just as big a fanny as a pundit as he was as a manager

  11. Congratulations on another decent win today.  It is just passed a 1/4 of the season and lets see where we all are come May.

I would dearly like yourselves and us to stay up at the expense of one of the so called 'Big Boys' after being written off by almost everyone bar those who actually know the teams.

    Onwards and upwards...

. McDonald kept Alloa in it. You had a whole 3 shots on target to our 9 (and that doesn't include Paton hitting wide where it was a stick-on goal if he gets it on target).

Agree, our Keeper was deffo MotM, but which team were the most wasteful?

2 goals from 3 shots or 2 from 9 shots?
